Fly* I did some testing in single player. Same principles apply to bought hangars and helipads. Any aircraft you buy will always be available. They can be (re)spawned with the key to change stored vehicle. If you destroy it, or let it despawn, you can go back to hangar/helipad and pick it up again. Any aircraft you steal and park in your hangar/helipad will only be available there until you take it out, since you don't own it. If you select another vehicle, it's gone, if it gets destroyed or despawned it's gone. some tests I did: blowing up my personal car: it respawned at my house after I took a cab to the airport leaving a purchased plane behind on the helipad to take a helicopter: the plane did not despawn instantly, but it was gone after I flew to my house and back. It was still available in the hangar after that. landing a purchased helicopter in the water next to the helipad, or blowing it up: I could respawn it instantly with "press to change stored aircraft" leaving a stolen plane in hangar and taking a ride through the city: the plane was still there when I came back, but when I switched to another vehicle the plane disappeared forever In short: you only have to be careful with planes you steal in single player, always leave them at your hangar to save them, and don't crash them. If you have bought it, it is a personal vehicle and always available. In online, when you crash a personal aircraft, just call Mors Mutual Insurance and it will be delivered back to your hangar. You can not keep stolen aircraft as personal aircraft, they have to be bought.
