GTA V hype was just too much, from the first date it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, with broken AI, too much glitches, not much backstory. Numberalical review : Story : 9.1/10 Physics : 8.8/10 Gameplay 9.7/10 Objective Matter 10/10, One of the best games in History based on Objective Matter. Freedom : 10/10. Theme feel : 9.7/10 Combat : 9.4/10 Interesting Events : 9.5/10 Voice Acting : 9.3/10 Variety : 9.9/10 Multiplayer : ?/10 The game, is a bit overrated. The Last of Us is sure not a Free World, but it sticked to it's theme best, with it's lyrical storytelling. Numberalical Review : Story : 10/10 Gameplay : 9.6/10 Objective Matter : 10/10 Theme Feel : 10/10 Combat System : 9.8/10 Interesting Events : 9.0/10 Voice Acting : 9.9/10 Variety : 9.5/10 Multiplayer : 9.8/10 Needs more attention. Maybe even a slight bit too high of rating on a few of those categories, but overall I'd say about spot on. Never played TLoU but have heard great things from it. But to make the full comparison we are going to need to see GTAO, because it's fairly obvious they focused heavily on the online portion this time around. That's not a problem with V, as even the story missions can be replayed individually. In fact, they are so different, you can't really compare them. It also contains the suffix rate, which is a form of grading. Now we combine those two and what do we get? We get that he felt the rating gta got was more than it should have been. Hmm.... Games like that are boring at the end which is why I don't play many except Battlefield and Resident Evil. I like how during and after the events of GTA and other open-world games that there is an option to pursue the main storyline with a lot of other opportunities to explore and endure. The last of us is awesome, but even without the online component in place yet GTA V is superior in every aspect, Game is already in a solid lead for game of the year, and Im gueesing online will just further solidify that.
