addicted425 Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 First off I have the slim and 70gb free atm. I have been noticing that things dissapear very quickly. I shoot someone turn around walk 4 ft, turn back around and all that remains is a bloody spot. Same with cars. I get out of a car go around a corner, come back and its gone. Does this happen for everyone? If not, is it a prroblem with my harddrive? I've also had several instances of pretty major pop in while driving. A lot of fire hydrants just appearing when I hop the curb. Even a few times of serving into on coming traffic because it was clear, only to have a car randomly appear 8ft in front of me. Can you go several blocks and return to the scene of a crime to still see the body? Can u park a car and go across the map and back and it still be there? Crunch McThornbody Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I've also noticed how small the 'remembering bubble' is as cars etc. will vanish if you walk a short distance away, it's the smallest 'remembering bubble' in any open world game I've played, being such a new and big game I thought it would be much much larger than it is. Really annoying to have stolen a decent car and it vanishes because you walked a short distance away from it. In contrast one of my other favourite open world games is Just Cause 2 and that has a pretty large 'remembering bubble' as you can zip quite far away then zip back and the vehicle you left will still be there. I figured that it would atleast remember like 40ft behind you. Anyone else able to weigh in on this. Does it happen to you or can you walk a block away and come back to see your carnage? addicted425 Posted September 21, 2013 Author Share Posted September 21, 2013 Ok so to update. Last night I was playing and driving at a high rate of speed while getting chased by cops. I came to a bridge that was un textured and when I went across the bridge I sunk into it a little over half way up the sides of the car. So just to clarify, about 60% of my car sunk into the road while driving bery fast and being chased by cops.... should I start looking for a new hdd or a new xbox all together Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I jump out parachute instantly to watch my plane go down only to realise that it freezes when it gets a certain distance away from you. The physics on start kicking in when I get closer to it. DONT GET ANY NEW GAME DISK!!! its not gonna fix the issue, becuase in the end is just the exact same disk. What you can do is delete the cache of your 360 (pretty easy, in the storage menu, you may have to download some updates again), and also try to install the playable disk on a USB 2.0 memory (it must have 16GB of memory with 7.2 GB free). Besides that there isnt much you can do, and to me, the "remembering bubble" is like 300 feet for cars, even farther if they are in my FOV, and like 80 feet for people and bodies but it depends on how many new NPCs are created on screen.
