Car insurance

So is there ni car insurance for single player? Or anyone know how the car impound actualy works because i have left nice cars out before and they just disapear and dont go to impound. I have all these souped up cars i dont use out of fear of losing them.

I stole a car with mike and modded it and got a message saying it had been impounded but its never done it with any of my other cars. I dont really understand.

i stole a huge suburban and put a lot of armor on it.. parked it under trevors 2nd safehouse as soon as i got there. came out and it was missing.. not even in impound. theres ups and downs to the new car saving system.. but never have i experienced cars disappearing from my driveway from the previous game.

I don't get it either man. I am terrified to blow thousands on modding because my sh*t keeps disappearing. It's hit or miss, like others have been saying. What I do for now is, for the cars I souped up for racing and whatnot, I store in actual garages pertaining to the character (not safe houses), then I only take it out to do a race. After winning said race, I take it back to the garage and go about my business.

 

I wish Rockstar would freaking comment on it. Like, how hard is it to make a comment on it? Car insurance isn't in the manual, either.
