jarfcl Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) Same oily problem here at night, xbox 360, pc HD screen, and now i've remarked it, i start to see it more and more often, even sometimes by day on some clothes, shadows, etc... I just can't take Michael 'obey' black car anymore at night, it's just awful.. now considering xbox patch cost policy, i don't expect a quick patch for this from rockstar, but who knows... It's always someone elses fault. Seriously, Rockstar Games means nothing to me anymore. For it was the interior of the vehicles in the late evening night time, I don't remember the exterior? I personally don't let it bother me. shandod Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 I mean, it could be hardware, but seeing as lots of people are having exact same problem, with very different versions of PS3/X360, and only having issues with GTAV, I doubt it. I've literally never played a game on my PS3 except this game (well, an hour of Uncharted 3, which ran fine) so I find it hard to believe something in my console has failed with age. Im on PS3 and no other games im playing are doing this but when i play GTAV,granted only during daytime usually on freeway or when driving at speed, theres some serious texture issues. They have admitted that the PSN digital download has issues. But thats it. Probably because the majority of the folk that downloaded it are having major issues. I can understand a digital download from PSN or Xbox marketplace being problematic but the disc...I just don't see how it can be. :L R* better come up with an update to fix this as soon as they can. At the moment I'm only having the minor disgusting oily textures at night, that's the only issue I'm having with my game. Performance and daytime quality is perfect.
