0 GuYaGaNjA 1 Posted September 18, 2013 I am having problems similar to how the officers pants look. At night and when the games at it darkest i get distortion or pixelization. The night sky for me looks terrible as well as the characters backs with dark clothes on and vehicles that are dark. Only at night for me though, day time is beautiful. 0 Konvict VIVIVI 0 Posted September 19, 2013 I had to register to say I have oily/bad looking textures at night to on my 360 S. I also a copy on the PS3 and it's fine so I know it's nothing to do with my TV. It's annoying as hell. Looks horrible.
0 NSanityHD 38 Posted September 19, 2013 In such case Konvict, welcome to GTA Forums. I don't understand why the 360 has these bad oily textures and the PS3 doesn't? Or does it?
0 Hero0fthyme 0 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) I also have bad, oily textures at night. Playing on 360s. I tried installing the second disk on a flash drive. That didnt help Edited September 19, 2013 by Hero0fthyme

What do you mean Clear cache exactly? Go to system settings on Xbox, press Y on hard drive and press clear system cache. This will delete all game updates, you will need to download them again when you start up other games.

0 Dmayne 9 Posted September 19, 2013 Yea ok Rockstar, "clear cache, it fixes everything!" Well at least they know about it now, hopefully we get a fix within the first few patches.
0 leaflinks 10 Posted September 19, 2013 I have noticed this too, my setup is a standard 19inch LCD with a HDMI wire.
0 GTASkunk 12 Posted September 19, 2013 Anyone found a fix for this yet? I have this problem and I also have: "Problem with storage device" error in Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox
0 IDiego x 1 Posted September 19, 2013 They don't even seem to be acknowledging this atm. This is really ruining my experience.
0 leaflinks 10 Posted September 19, 2013 Its quite unfortunate a lot of people have seemed to had a problem with this game. My only problem was the texture detail in the night. Other than that its been plain sailing.

0 jarfcl 0 Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) Same oily problem here at night, xbox 360, pc HD screen, and now i've remarked it, i start to see it more and more often, even sometimes by day on some clothes, shadows, etc... I just can't take Michael 'obey' black car anymore at night, it's just awful.. now considering xbox patch cost policy, i don't expect a quick patch for this from rockstar, but who knows... Anyway ruining my experience too as this feels too weird... edit : just found that guy having made a short video of that problem for those who want see more than the picture here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_Lr0qq5PsA (ps : haven't heard all of this so i decline all responsabilities, i'm only interested by images..) ^^ Edited September 20, 2013 by jarfcl
