I thought after the release of GTAV people would stop moaning about things: too big / too slow / unrealistic / arcadey

 

but yet it continues.....

I'm loving it so far. The story & characters have me cracking up, the city is gorgeous, & I love the shooting.

Still need some work on my driving , but that's my own fault.

I'm finding the driving really comfortable.

 

One thing I'm finding massively different, but very entertaining and challenging is the flying. It's going to take some time until I can fly a chopper as neatly as I did in IV.

Everyone who likes REALISTIC driving, who would most likely be people who drive REAL cars too, HATE these controls. Me being kinda one of em, I think they are a big step back from IV, I find it's too much a step towards Sleeping Dogs or Saint's Row.

 

The controls are made FOR kids even though they're not supposed to be playing it. The f*cking whiney kids are what messed up these controls in the first place.

 

Btw, ain't nobody leavin GTA for CoD, no matter how bad they think it is..

The city is too big, the cars drive too slow, and they're too arcadey/unrealistic.

Most complaints are justifiable... It's like complaining about people complaining about gta 4s slippery driving...

 

The driving needs work... Needs more drift ability... Peel outs, friction slide... Not too much but I want to drift.

 

Also far damage obviously needs patching.

I'm loving it. So what if the car's don't handle like they did in GTA IV. Some people just like change.

 

At first I felt disappointed by the lack of "interiors" like cluckin bell for instance, but the more I play the game the more i realise just how much other stuff has been added and changed. Everything from interactions and conversations with members of the public down to the seemingly flawless player switching. The instant immersion into missions without any loading or waiting which is very cinematic and only add's to the experience. The attention to detail is incredible and the handling of the car's certainly isn't going to stop me enjoying it. The car's are definitely easier to handle and grip more but meh so what. The game is just brilliant, and hopefully more people will feel the same once you stop focusing on the few things that are different from gtaIv

I dont have the game yet but I've been watching live streams and the stuff i've seen on V looks insanely fun. So much better than anything IV had to offer, and on a whole different level from San Andreas. My opinion will probably change when I actually get the game, but for the better.

Hey guys I'm pretty sure you can change the reticule in the options/settings. I ain't on it now so can't instruct you, but I'm pretty positive you can. Hope this helps.
