Collector's Edition Garage Question

So the Collector's Edition comes with a (currently) exclusive garage. Stocked inside are the Hotknife, Carbon RS, and the Elegy (from social club - not CE exclusive). When i played the game last night i noticed the garage was empty, but if you walk into the corner and press right on the D pad, it allows you to select from a drop down list of those cars, even though they werent actually in the garage.

 

I had stored a Coquette in there and it was the only thing in the garage even though i could still bring down the drop menu for the cars. So my question is, how many cars can you store in this garage? looked like it could store maybe 4 vehicles in it. So could i store 4 vehicles and still have the 3 cars from the drop down? or only 1, and the 3 drop down cars (even though they arent shown) actually do take up 3 slots?

 

furthermore, if you take one of the 3 drop down vehicles out and destroy it, are they still in the garage, always available for you to get out, or are there only one of them? I cant actually check myself because im out visiting family for a few days, just want to know the answer to these questions

Yeah I was wondering a similar thing about the garage, tbh I was expecting like a sunshine autos place! is it just the cars we get? Because I've not seen a dlc specific garage??

dont know about the total number but i did take the hot knife out park it in that parking lot, then went back into the garage and got another one so the special vehicles are unlimited.
