Do you know how the Bus-Service in GTA V works? I can't take the Bus, but I read in a few articles that it would be possible. (To earn money as a bus-driver would be also cool)

I don't know. I've been wondering too. I hope we get an answer..

In one of the old GTAs, Vice City I think, if you stole a bus, you could stop at bus stops to earn cash. I drove around in a bus for 15 minutes and didn't see one damn bus stop. And none of the controller buttons seem to put me into a mission mode.

I´m curious about this too. Can anyone confirm this? Can we ride as a passenger cause it was rumored a lot? There are lots of buses with passengers inside and also bus stops but I haven´t been able to use them except for stealing of course.

I don't think you can do this. Saw a bus drop off some passengers at a bus stop, so I jacked a bus later and tried stopping at that same stop, nothing happened. Not even laying on the horn helped, lol.

So far, I think the ways of earning cash are too few. Outside of the story, it seems to be racing, robberies and taxi missions and that's it (aside from the stock market).

 

You would think you could get cash from doing the tow truck missions, or there would be things like the vigilante and assassin missions from GTA4. I'm surprised that kind of thing has been missed out.

There's a mission where you steal a bus and have to make stops.

Haven't tried doing it outside of a mission.

 

As for making cash, you can also buy businesses and get weekly income, and then missions will pop up to increase that income.

So I take it, police computer/current crime type stuff you could do in GTA4 is gone though.

does anybody know where each bus goes? like what the front of the bus says?

 

I've seen the red ones say downtown and I've seen a few green ones at the airport so I assume those say airport?
