Even Franklin seems to think himself above that, as shown by his criticism of Lamar's gangbanging lifestyle, so I don't really see him taking part in too many of those. GTA V seems to have a focus on high profile heists rather than the low level stuff like gang wars and I don't really mind that, much as I enjoyed the Drug and Gang wars in EFLC. Maybe in dlc eh? many people love the gang side of things in gta, just look at san andreas. I'm sure rockstar will cater to those gamers with relevant dlc in the future. Right now, the whole hood thing is neglected which saddens me, in the trailers/screens before release it looked like gangbanging would play a bigger role in franklins storyline than it actually was when I got the game. It could just be Lamar and the other dude you recruit for all I care...just give us Something to do as a gang Together vs other families. These features made SA the legendary game it is today. hamburglary Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 (edited) I'm sorry but a lack of Turf or gang wars pretty much makes this a no buy for me. heck, what happened to even Drug Wars from BOGT???????? Why can't we just recruit guys and go out battling with fleets of ballers over territory, money, cars, etc.....now south Los Santos is just a bore to be in. Am I the only one Deeply hurt by the lack of these side activities with Franklin and Lamar? I agree. I can't see why Franklin and Lamar (at least in the beginning of the missions) only do a couple if even some cool gangmissions. I don't get why they made quite a big deal with the vagos, ballas and families if there aren't any real gang wars besides sometimes getting shot at on the street when driving by. I don't see the point not showing on the map where the gang's turfs are located. Where is the drug Dealer with the White t-shirt from the first trailer.. clearly rockstar has cut out revenue from drug deals type missions etc which was a big aspect... 2.) Why the hell is franklin such a pusy.. 3.) Were the ballas and Families and Vagos jerking off in their turf too busy to actually do any work ? Absolutely waste.. 4.) Where is the guy from the trailers getting arrested from the hood and stuff.. 5.) FRANKLIN DISAPPOINTED BIG TIME.. that preorder poster made me feel his character would be big.. his part would be huge..infact trevor was much better..stuck to his character.. 6.) CHOP ?!? What did they do.. they ruined it with their iFRUIT APP BULL CRAP.. that part of the gameplay was absolutely ruined... they said they'd come out with an android version and they din't.. and its a month from release now.. seriously that pissing off.. just 1 Mission with that dog and hardly any significance.. just pure BULL GTA 5 Was Decent.. but NOT GREAT..NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT THE posters, articles, gta 5 web marketing, and other crap stuff implied.. Don't even get me started on the online BS.. worst online game.. unless you have 5 Hours Everyday available to sit and game.. Pure BS.. I loved this Company so much they just gave me BS.. YOGA ? Are u kiddin me ? Heists ? TOTAL BS..
