And the game tells you to save cars by parking them in a garage but Franklin's white car is always on his drive, so it's all a bit confusing right now. If you save it in the grove street garage for example, it will definitely stay in there but won't respawn. I had a modded sentinel in Michaels home garage but a few game days later I switched to him and it was gone. I think I know why they disappear though! Remember the characters live out their lives when you're not using them so maybe they take the car somewhere and abondon it which is why you never get it back! I had Franklins white car you start with in driveway & a motorbike (not by choice) + a modded stolen car which I had in the garage. I found an infernus & wanted to keep it. So I swapped the motorbike with the infernus. The motorbike keeps reappearing & wiping another vehicle in the driveway, even after I took it away & blew it up with my shotgun in a rage after losing an infernus because of it lol. Is there no way of getting rid of a certain vehicle for good? Even Franklins own car has disappeared during discrepancies caused by the bike!
