Agd_Scorp
I installed GTA 5 Disc 1 into the HDD, and the Disc 2 into my Kingston 20GB USB Drive, when I try to bootup Disc 2 from my USB, it says "Please insert disc to play" - god. is there any way to play GTA 5 Disc 2 from USB without getting this damn error? I've seen Digital Foundry running GTA 5 from USB. (or if I insert the Disc, will this affect my laser, or is this just some confirmation?)
OverTheTop
Guessing you still need to put the disc in the tray while your playing otherwise you could buy one copy of the game and share it with all your friends. I'd like to hear more feedback.
Agd_Scorp
If I put the disc 2 in the tray, will the xbox read the disc? or Xbox is just tryna confirm if you got a legit GTA 5 copy or something.

sonic_blue
the game disc always needs to be in the drive when you play any installed game. the only scenario you need to avoid with GTA5 is installing both discs to the same storage. in all other scenarios the game will run fine. trusk89
R* urges players not to install disk 2, as it affects performance while playing (yep, I know how it sounds).
HanPL
Insert your Pendrive to USB slot > Go to memory options and flash your pendrive for x360 use. Then install DVD 2 on usb stick then try to launch the game and see if it will work, also remember that USB stick MUST have read speed higher than 15mb/s, Also this is kinda silly but for sure you have DVD 2 in DVD when you launch the game right ? For short moment game will read info from DVD 2 but after that it will stop and switch to USB. Edited September 18, 2013 by HanPL
