Early niggles

Please don't shout me down for making my first a negative one. I must stress that these are very early signs. My opinions on some of these may change and I have no doubt the game's brilliance will FAR outweigh these niggles, but...

 

• No back seat / free view when riding in the back of a cab. Sad, but in IV I loved how you could just sit back and watch the world go by during your ride home.

• Don't like the fact that you can't turn the radio off without bringing up the station wheel.

• Don't like the fact that game music and car radio music are on the same channel (in other words, you have to have game music on in order for the car radio to operate).

• Cars are much more stable now, but the steering, throttle and brakes are too senstive (and no option to alter it). This makes 'cruising' the streets at 12 mph not as pleasurable and easy as it was in IV.

• The speed of cars feels less realistic now and I find it far more difficult to avoid other cars when driving fast as they come up on you too quickly and are, for some reason I can't determine, more difficult to see.
