Rydberg123 Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Hey Guys! recently installed GTA V on my Xbox 360 (around 4 y/o) and it lags like hell. My fps is around 10-15 and its barely playable in some situations. I have no idea what the problem is. I have tested: -Change from HDMI to Component -Change from 1080p to 720p and down to 420p -Change TVs Can someone please help me! :;( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Poker2012chu Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Did you install from both disks? R* said that could cause a lot of problems if you did. I have a PS3, so I'm not sure of the exact details, but I think that you need to uninstall, then reinstall using only disk 1 and running the game off the HD. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? Do you drive and it can go smooth and a few seconds later it drops with like 10 FPS ? it seems this game tops at around 30 FPS, but feels like it can go down to 15, I have the same problem : I drive around, when I get to even a little crowded area (a junction for example), the FPS drops, it can be the same if I turn around the camera and look twoards the city, or even sometimes just when driving on the highway.
