Because of the new "cone of vision" system, you can easily get a 1 star wanted level from a random murder or carjacking that gets witnessed, but the police are slow to arrive and only one or two cars are responding. Usually they won't even arrive at your location before they begin the searching, and they may never come close to finding you before they give up. Also, if you kill someone in the hood (without popping caps or with tons of people around) at night you won't get a star. Only if people report you or cops directly see you. I like how cops stay out of the hood if they can help it. I rob stores in the hood more often because I know I have time to get away before they can get a unit dispatched. Realistic as hell. toybasher Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 My only real complaint is how quickly one star escalates to two. I've had situations where the officer runs over to arrest me, and by the time he gets there enough time has passed to earn a second star, making him open fire. Only other complaint is I havn't seen a single police car aside from me having a wanted level, the car being parked, or the officer is chasing an NPC.
