I hear you can still play singleplayer in 'online' mode so no harm done if the case. Now if there are age based servers that would be another story... The game will hook you up with friends & crew first....then it will hook you up with people that are the same-ish level as you that have a similar connection. They dedicated a lot of time and resources into making the online mode because that's what sells these days, but I keep wondering just how much better the single player would have been if the online was more basic and more time was put into single player. I'm not supporting OP here, but to be fair, if you've played a few online games and disliked them, there's not much a new game's multiplayer mode can do to change your mind. I played online FPS games for a while, got tired of them and don't play them anymore. I don't have to try the latest CoD or Battlefield to know that I won't like them that much. Because Single Player is still there and it hasn't been devalued except exclusively in the minds of those who hate that the Online isn't some tacked on bullsh*t. He doesn't have to like playing games online, but him acting as if he is being personally insulted by the inclusion of an additional feature in a game is simply silly. There seems to be this current of thought that if they weren't doing GTA:O, then there'd be 700+ missions+extra interiors+and this and that in single player. No, there wouldn't- at least nothing substantial. We'd still have 69 story missions and the same range of single player content, give or take a few momentary diversions that added up would accumulate to six seconds and a marble. The only real difference it would have made is it's very likely the game would have come out sooner, and the second people accept that the end Single Player product was substantially what it was always going to be, the sooner people can breathe and actually enjoy the game for what it is and not what they imaged it to be. You can play it exactly like single player just with your own customisable character. It just syncs to Rockstars servers to update missions and stuff. My friend is a Pro Halo Player I guess you'd call him a Troll as well he would spend 16 hours practicing maps but then again he is probably a troll.
