Every GTA i ever played had really fun vigilante missions, like driving police cars or ambulances... why in the hell did they take this feature out?

build upon the good stuff dont rip the heart out of the games series.

The closest thing to vigilante missions is bounty hunting, I guess. Of all the things, why would they put yoga in?

I really thought Rockstar did a great job with vigilante in GTA4. It's a shame they took it out. That was one of the bright spots of that game imo.

They for vigilante-mode in GTA 5 as well. Not the kind you had in 4 where you could click on the in-car-computer. Now you got bounty-hunting for that

But if you drive a cruiser, you will now and then see small dots on the radar, that's missions. Or you will hear people screen that someone stole their car. Bike. Purse or anything else. I have driven several missions. Fun as hell. And you got random car-chases that you can help with. Or just follow another cruiser running code 3. He is probably on his way to an emergency.

There is kind of a vigilante aspect to the game, but it occurs randomly. You can be driving around and a flashing red-blue dot will appear on map where someone is getting robbed or attacked and you can choose whether to help or not.

Also at random you might enter a store and it could be, being held up. you can
choose to chase them and keep the money or return the money.. or not help at
all!

EDIT: I was not in a police cruiser/vehicle when I saw these marks on the map

They didn't take it out. It's more that they didn't put it in.

There is enough extras to keep me amused for quite a while, so I don't mind. but there are a few others out there who were sad to find it missing too. I'll say that I'd have much rathered this than yoga or golf.

I heard someone say that if you see a police chase, you should join in and kill the criminals. I should be getting my game tomorrow, gonna try this.

Also no more car theft missions (eg stevies missions in IV) which were in since GTA3...

Tbh, the only activitiy that remembers me in the usual GTA stuff is the arms trafficing.

V really lacks in that aspect.. only sports and races... a lot of peope dont complain about the lack of gang wars/fight club for no reason...

Your one of the few here who actually notices the lack of activities their is actually in the game. Most people are just blindly calling the game perfect that needs no improvement or anything added whatsoever. Fact is, a lot of sh*t is missing.

Why would you prefer vigilante missions which are just a super mini game from GTA (which i dont like and im pretty sure a lot of other people doesnt play GTA just for the vigilante mission) than sports that (talking about gameplay) almost equal completely separated videogames?

Its weird that they also left out poker and gambling and stuff like pool.

They copied and pasted the GTA4 darts, so why not doing the same with pool and poker from RDR?

The codes are already there so they dont have to write new ones from ground up.

But if there are DLC, I hope they are in the main game and not seperated like in IV
