Like weapons laying on ground for you to get, also same with Armor. Can you find armor as well like the old games? I haven't seen or read anything about this yet....so I thought I'd bring it up. vince91 Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 during one of the fist missions with franklin, where you have to repo the bike , there's armor in one of the 3 lock ups. haven't seen any weapons but i'm sure there must be some hidden somewhere.. It's not like previous games where, if you ran out of bullets, you'd just toss out the gun as if it were useless. I just thought they would still have them all over which would GIVE you more "free" ammo if you found them on the map. Whether you have the gun or not. So technically they force you to buy the guns is what you are saying. So armor is the only thing u can find for free? Okay. Thanks... Police chase NPC's who tend to carry weapons. Follow the chase and wait til police kill the suspect, then their weapon and cash is all yours. There are but they don't have a distinct glow around them like they have in the past, also they are just laying flat on the ground with a sort of shimmer to them. In short YES but very hard to see. Even with the map in the guide, it's hard to find some of these places! Body armor is the most prevalent, with 28 different locations. Unless you have the guide, or someone puts a map up, you're just better off buying them at Ammunation if you have the cash. But I'll be a nice guy and give you a couple of armor places that I frequent when I need to top off the near-useless armor. (Cops are so powerful, doesn't seem to matter a whole lot...) 1. El Burro Heights: Inside the fire training building behind LS County Fire Department Station 7. 2. Palmer-Taylor power station: inside the train station besides the power station. 3. Vespucci: At the end of a pier walkway, the one at the southern part of the beach, just north of the inlet between it and the Airport. WPCatfish Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Sniper Rifle at the Observatory, in front of the leftmost telescope on lowest level (like that's not begging for trouble!). It's empty though, have to wait until it respawns to collect it again for some ammo. It does respawn pretty quick though, I was wandering the Observatory grounds and collected 30 rounds for it. Might have been in the Sandy Shores area. I found Armor in the tower type building in Land Act Dam: I read in one of the threads that you can find a parachute at the top of the Mile High Club. And.. everyone must know this by now but I will still mention it, you can find petrol cans in Gas stations. GeneticallyDifferent Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 There is an automatic shotgun in the train tunnels under construction(where you escape in the 1st heist) You go through the tunnels until you reach the more open area underground.You will see the stairs going on a deeper level.When you get down,the other stairs go even deeper in a hole in the ground.In there is a shotgun.
