Please read my post before posting some stupid sh*t and don't come in here saying "Nothing". That is not why I made this thread, I want detailed explanations, not 12 yo remarks. My question begins here: What is disappointing some of you folks. I see threads where people are saying "Not a lot of interiors" "No safehouses" "Overhyped" "All cars drive like supercars" etc. What was actually misleading what Rockstar said, what let you down? I woulda liked to see more variety of fastfood chains and the such and be able to enter them. Maybe like an arcade thing too. Cars are just waaaay to fast. The handling is fine for me, dont understand all the hate. The city itself, while not bad, just doesnt awe me like past GTAs. There are no areas that I feel like hopping out of my car to explore or cause mayhem. However, I've only played for about 5 hours or so, maybe this will change once I explore a bit more. Radio stations are bad, just awful imo. Hate to sound like a broken record, but how can you do so well in Vice City and San Andreas and just fill these last two games with boring junk. QuietSundayLibrary Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Thus far, I've been thoroughly pleased by both the gameplay and visual aesthetics that Rockstar so painstakingly implemented and refined over the course of five years; what I'm taken aback by, however, is how shockingly easy it is to perish. For instance, a Balla picked a fight with me during my initial leisurely stroll around Franklin's neighborhood. I took maybe two hard shots to my body and I was out like a light. Accountclosed Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) As I wrote in another topic: - Burger-shots + cluckin' bell not enterable - Casino not enterable (No simple gambling possible)- Not possible to shoot in enterable businesses (Ammu-nation, barbershops etc.)- Only 1 stripclub- No nightclubs- Bars not enterable (And only visible on the map while doing activities with friends)- Some trucks with/without trailer accelerate EXTREMELY fast in 1. and 2. gear considering their weight- Buyable businesses not enterable- Car/MC-handling + damage should be changeable (e.g. MC's are not drifting/loosing the grip while taking a 90 degree turn while driving on sand/dirt with 100 mph which WOULD cause a slide/crash IRL and that just explains most of the future driving experiences) - Not possible to rob banks/jewelry stores etc. outside missions - Not possible to kidnap strangers outside missions/mini-games - Not possible to put peds into the trunk of cars and being able to live out that abducting psychopath thing - Fewer interiors enterable than expected (IMHO) - Not possible to leave car without turning the engine off (Was possible in IV - Happens sometimes randomly though in V) - You're forced to close the cardoor (In IV you weren't - And who closes a door on their way out of a car getting gunned to pieces by a whole police department?) - Sometimes getting in/out of a car happens so quick that I think the protagonist is affected by amphetamine - Possible to "flip" your car over when it's lying on top (WTF Rockstar?!) - Not possible to buy safehouses in SP Other than that, it's a stunning game but it lacks the good stuff. Indeed Hope they sell some of it (if not all of it) as DLCs as that would make this game almost complete, but I highly doubt it.. ( X to accelerate ) This is how i play it's my style yet were forced to use R2 & L2 buttons i also hate the fact the is no option to turn handbrake camera off. Driving suck! : -since there is driving stats , yea - drive more get better at driving. 2. Vehicle damage nerfed !: - related to old complain where the road being to wide , thanks to them - its hard to slip through without franklin's ability. and this is one of the many reason why vehicle damage nerf , off-road is challenging when ur car dont have offroad tire/tyre. if they using old car damage , bet single accident will wreck the car into scrap. 3. LESS PEDESTRIAN! -andd yes it is , but the ped is alot better now . show u how quality are always better than quantity . hard to see same ped over and over at same place . U probably will see same ped but they are varied , and most of them have unique line and V have more unique ped. and they have better interaction between protagonist. Ped now have great a.i too 4. Casual Mission difficulties (i really dissapointed with this since the game is M rated , but Rockstar expect kids to play this. but!) - even at casual difficulties , some people dont get their perfect score , and mission are replayable anytime anywhere. 5. GRAPHIC , OH MY ! MY EYES! - so ppl point this out , look at all the activities , all the features , look at how playable this game is ! and it is all with 7 years old hardware . AMAZING ? SURE IT IS ! so thing here, rockstar cover up all the let down with acceptable features. cant list all. The game doesn't sound like what it was supposed to be. Yeah the story is amazing and there are more activities... but not quite as much as anticipated. And it also looks like they paid less attention to certain 'menial' details. It's hard to drive a car at a reasonable speed? Really? That right there turns me off. Cruising is my main thinf but now it sounds like the physics force, or want, you too drive fast. How disappointing, just from what I've read. Thanks guys.
