st.jevic
Hello everybody, After reading the forum extensively for the past week or so and reading everything i could about GTA5 i, of course, am planning to play the hell out of it. Problem is, I'm doing an internship in the middle of nowhere (no game stores around in a ~50km radius), so to get GTA 5 i'm probably gonna have to download it, if not wait. So - I own a 2008 40GB PS3, and can free up 37GB's by formatting my HD, I know that the game takes up around 18GB to download, then another 18GB to install. Will the downloaded 18GB be able to be erased when the game is installed or will my HD be stuck at 36GB's, probably not allowing me to do any updates? Bottom line is - can I install it from PSN or do I have to get the disc? Thanks a heap.

Spuds725
It should erase the download file after installing. I personally would just buy the disk-- you are pushing it right to the limit-- or alternately buy a new hard drive for the PS3-- Edited September 17, 2013 by Spuds725 Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games.... vince91
should be good if it doesn't work just get a bigger hdd (2.5 inch 5400rpm SATA) and format it to FAT32 with your pc. then swap the hard drives (opening on the side of your console) and format on ps3. then you're ready to go edit : don't forget to backup data you want to keep on a usb stick Edited September 17, 2013 by vince91
