However, I'm at university right now getting ready to go to a lab so at least time will go by quickly between now and 4:00 p.m. It's been out for delivery since 7:00 a.m. but I'm pretty sure my neighborhood is one of the last locations they visit (packages usually arrive between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It went out for delivery at 4:30 AM, but I am close to last on the route, so I fully expect it will not arrive until at least 4:00 PM. It's unbelievable how long these UPS guys' shifts are. 12 hours is a long time, you would think they would hire more drivers and accomplish all of their deliveries in 8 hour shifts instead, but whatever, it's just the way it is. About an hour ago, I checked the UPS status page for my order, only to discover it had been delivered to an "office". It took a few minutes, but thanks to UPS live chat, I discovered it had been delivered to a factory office a half-mile away on a completely different road, Now, how the hell can you misread a shipping label like that? Out of all the packages that could go awry, why THIS one? The factory office isn't especially well staffed, and I was transferred to their shipping department... only to get a freaking machine. I hung up and called UPS customer service, and they're trying to unravel the situation. They're not having any success with the factory either, ha. And now they're referring me back to Amazon to handle the situation instead of manning up and admitting their mistake, and having the driver go back, pick the package up, and deliver it to the proper address. f*cking UPS. Edit: Unhappy conclusion. Amazon was out of stock for the Special Edition, so they refunded the purchase cost. I ordered the regular edition, and they waived the overnight shipping fee on it, so I get it tomorrow, along with the guide I ordered. Extremely unhappy with UPS, but at least Amazon did the best they could with the situation. f*cking UPS. My UPS Tracker just updated saying it arrived in my town, but it also updated the expected delivery date to tomorrow... If it is sitting in the UPS place all night I will be pissed (I might pull my first heist).
