Hey honey, you forgot that the game was leaked on torrents 1 month before the release date right? It was just not playable till they got the DVD, after that it was cracked and spread all over. Uhm, that wasn't leaked at all. It's called a pre-load. Loads of companies sell their games that way, only with gta people started looking into it. It was useless, and saying that it only became usefull when they got the disk, kind of makes that useless pre-load even more useless.

 

I'm not saying every pc gamer pirates, heck, even I play games on my pc, but just a big ass majority does, and a lot of people are upset because of companies losing money over it. Now with rockstar, they already made sh*t load of money, but they do still deserve the money for every copy.

also its not about controll, its about resolution (1440p, 60 FPS and imagequality...AF, AA, Tesselation, Depth of Field, Motion Blur Effect and such things)

you're telling me that you have that? even if you do, most pc games don't, simply too expensive.

 

take vasectomy for an example, even though it is the most successful method for birth control, it is the least used. for this reason any research on this topic revels vasectomy to be a failure.

 

simply because something is good on paper doesn't mean it will work in real life. having 3200%better performance means you will spend yearly thousands of dollars just to maintain the highest end specs to boast about it.

 

I am trying to build a pc, and have a 1000%budget, and have been annoying people as to what I can get for that price, but telling me that pc is better because it has so much better performance is sh!t. you are talking to more than 160million ps3/xbox360 owners -according to gasmespot both have 80mil sold units- and to tell them they have to spend more than 3-thousand dollars to get the highest end pc is just stupid, and shows why everyone hate the pc gamers for thinking they are so superior.

Yes, I know about the jailbreak for consoles and I know about the cracked game versions for PC. I know also there are ways to avoid ban for consoles but my point is that you can pirate a game no matter which platform and you shouldn't generalize all PC gamers as pirates.

I don't get it, I have a ps3 and a PC, obviously I love my PC more, because instead of paying the price of a new console every couple of years, I can just put a 300 dollar chip in whenever it's needed,

consoles have their place, which is semi-casual gaming, you wouldn't ever never ever run any of the DCS games on ps3, probably not even on ps4.

I love both of my machines for the different things they can do, even if one can do it better (by a lot)

You didn't understand what i said.

 

The game was indeed leaked to torrents, even if it was a pre-load people were able to download the full game files without paying, they couldn't play it but they had the game, so when the first games were sold days before the official release that file got a crack and worked.

 

The thing is, people started to spread the game files (the full game) 1 month before, all they needed was a working crack that was provided with the first games sold before the time. As you can see in the link I posted that was just 1 torrent out of thousands you can find on the Internet and it had thousands of seeders and leechers, and millions of views.
