I see a lot of butthurt people here, angry fanboys who can't deal with criticism of the game... and butthurt people who can't deal with the game.

Not sure yet, I am loving the new mechanics but I really hate that they made the story short, removed the interiors and a few other good features that IV/SA had

LACK OF INTERIORS IS DISTURBING

you can ride the rollercoaster, do yoga, play tennis, huge useless water space, but you cant enter in the strip club you buy!!

plus no vigilante missions, no gang wars, not enough weapons, no gambling, etc..

I don't even care about the driving. I think it's ok

I agree.

I voted yes, I think this game is epic. But there are some things that were in IV and SA that aren't in V. Everything that's been in a past GTA should be in a new one. They should be building on stuff, not replacing it. There should be bowling, pool, gambling, bars which you can get drunk in. (I'm not sure if there's any bars yet, haven't been playing too long).

My only other minor quibble is the size of the map. Whilst it technically is the biggest they have ever done, and is huge, it just feels like it is lacking something by only having one major city. Los Santos also feels rather small... it only takes 2 mins to drive from one end to the other. LC in IV felt like a much more accurate representation of New York than LS does of LA.

I don't know who in the hell could be butthurt with this masterpiece. There are some problems, but in the grand scope of things, they are minor. I was really worried after watching the streams and stuff, but after going on a binge and playing all night, this is the best GTA ever. All the little kids who don't like it need to go back to the COD forums.

Yes it it! Am loving the game so far and am excited about exploring the rest of the map and seeing everything.

Most of the cry babies are probably GTA IV fanboys crying about the vehicle physics (which by the way are fantastic in V!)

Long live Rockstar! :r*:

It has exceeded my expectations, I'm just glad I went with SE instead of CE.

Effin amazing. Great graphics, great driving physics, it's epic. I love that the cops are harder to shake but so far, if I could change one thing, it would be to not make them this difficult lol. It takes you like 5 mins to shake off a two star wanted level. I could see that become a nuisance.

Considering I'm only 2 or 3 missions in, I'd say yes. I'm just very impressed with the mechanics, or maybe it's the feeling of playing a new GTA for the first time in years.

This game is just fine.. but the aliasing is pretty horrible.. when cops or peds are far away, you CAN shoot them, but with so much aliasing, you can't make out details.

If you are running out in the open, then yeah, it's hard... you have to hide from them, and that's really easy, even with a 3 star wanted level. Be smart and hide in places they aren't looking. If you run out in a car in the open, you'll never get away.

Personally, no. I think the driving is the same as the worse arcade game I've played and I've played a few. The driving was sim like, perfect. (and it's not just a case of 'getting used' to it) In this, GTAV, you can stop a motorbike from full speed in like 1.4 seconds while turning the bars hard left. It's f*cking unreal why they'd screw that up and I don't see me getting used to something that is, in terms of authentic driving, a step back. The shooting and improvements in other areas is good, but I'm still warming to the look and feel of the city, it does not sit well right now.

But the driving has been screwed up, this is clear, it has been made easy, unrealistically easy.

And would people stop flying off the deep end, everyone who bought the game is entitled to say how they feel about it and it seems everyone wants to chat.

disappointed about the world design, nothing really awes me so to speak. Kinda boring loooking. FPS and jaggies are horrid as well, PS3 version.
