Ronrollin9434
It's because of how ridiculously fast most of the cars accelerate in the game. I feel like I drive too fast, almost. Even in average cars. I'm always bumping into the back of cars or dodging them, etc. Very annoying.
Itzik_Maflitzik
It's your fault for rushing it. Did you go up the mountains, or did you take the freeway? Stop trying so damn hard. Even in maps like Skyrim, if you took a fast ass car around the map, I'm sure it would look small. The map is big enough, sit down. This.

Actually i think their is a major difference with car speeds here. in GTA V some cars are dam fast, way faster than any from SA Edited September 17, 2013 by woolva2k13

They lied about so much stuff I lost count Here's a list. x5 Pendestrians Interiors Serial killers, bums, red necks in the woods All of these were said by R* to be in the game haven't been. lizardman563
I don't think many of you actually remember SA too well. Sure if you had a Hydra you could get across the map in no time and cause tons of pop in, but just driving down the highways did take a while. I played GTA SA yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. As another brilliant poster has pointed out, you'd have to be blind with f*cking autism to have to take 10 minutes to get from one side of the map to another in gta sa. I did it in about 2 minutes with a turismo. Edited September 17, 2013 by lizardman563
Tony Trollucci
It takes less than 10 minutes to go around the full SA map in a train doing the freight missions while stopping at each stop. I did these missions last night.
leroy1985
yeah for some reason sa did feel bigger, but i trust rockstar, if they say it is then i beleive them as they are like the only honest devs who dont rip it out of there customers. You are totally wrong. In GTA SA it took me from north to south less then 2 min. And if I circle the it took me about 4 min In GTA V it took me 5 min from north to south and 10 min if I circled it
Mcquiz
The whole map size is quite nice but the Los Santos is definetly too small. You can get from the ghetto to Michael's mansion is very little time.

Taking 30 minutes to drive to Michael's house from East Los Santos would get some people complaining. The map is pretty large and full for what 7 year old hardware can handle. stee_vo
Its true, probably even gta iv's map is bigger. f*ck the ocean floors seriously no cares about that. Rockstar took some balls decisions with this game. Seriously they should have remade the whole san andreas not just los santos (which imo is very boring). What? Los Santos is amazing, you can't just drive through it and expect something cool to happen.
TheKryptonite
The map may not be as big we want it to be, but let's be honest. If the map was too big, we'd be complaining on how big it is. Why? Because it'd take too long to go from point a to point b. I guess that means V has 1,500 Interiors are probably online, I don't think they specified either or. So much is fit on the disk. Their techniques have gotten better. I don't think the game is 10gb of code, and 8 of fluff. I personally would have liked to see a lot of other stuff taken out and more interiors. I want an arena, but they didn't specify whether it would be online or single. Don't know about the bums. It looks like an amazing game. I wonder what kind of rating San Andreas would get if it came out now......
