scarface910
whenever I hear the characters talking during a cutscene its very faint and not the normal pitch you would normally hear. During gameplay when other people are talking I can hear them loud and clear. Is anyone experiencing this and know how to fix it?

I am not sure why it work since I have never messed with those settings before.

Not sure if it's different for me because I use a hdmi and an Optical cable. I'm gonna try to switch with gamestop if possible.

scarface910
Dude, you f*cking rock. I went to gamestop and those f*ckers couldn't do sh*t because I didn't have warranty and they never asked me for any. Anyways I tried your option, chose a different sound option and it worked like a f*cking charm! You f*cking rule.
skids
I found on the PS3 the changing in-game audio setting menu to "TV" while doing missions was necessary. It seems there is something broken with the spatialization 5.1 encoding of the mission audio. This includes cut scenes and mission-related cell phone calls. You can hear them just barely but it sounds like they are trapped in a collapsed building talking through 300 feet of PVC conduit. Unfortunately this despatializes all the sound in the game, so if you haveto flip it back later when you're free-roaming to hear the screams behind you.
