How many people are having major problems with GTA V?

the game always freeze when its loading story mode i have an xbox 360 arcade with more than 100+ of empty space on my hdd

It won't let me proceed with the Big Score mission...like wtf?! I've done everything to prep for the heist and now it's just leaving me hangin -_-

Every time I try opening a mission in load games it always freezes

unless it triggers soon, my 2nd playthrough is bugged to the point i can't continue it.

 

I did Blitz Play and that SHOULD have made the first Solomon mission available. It has not and this means I can't do any more story missions because that one is needed. Solomon is a phone contact despite never having done the mission (i reconfirmed on youtube, he's supposed to be only AFTER this mission) The only mission required to unlock Mr Richards should be Blitz Play

 

Mission isn't available for replaying either. Somehow, my game skipped over an unskippable mission.

I can't get passed the bus assassination mission, after i finish it, i wait for a call from Les which never comes. -_- I can't switch to Franklin or Trevor ethier! what is wrong?

Well, sh*t. After trying all the suggestions in the troubleshooting guide I was holding out on complaining until the update came out, But that didn't fix my damn problem either. Got a 120GB PS3 Slim and I can only play for an hour or less without the game freezing. This is so annoying how few and far between people with this exact issue are and how little solid fixes are known. F*** sakes all I want to do is play GTA

Don't know if this is any help to anyone now but when everyone had the problem with "Storage Device Error" all you had to do was uninstall the game, and borrow a friend's or family member's installation disc and install it to your 360. Then it would work perfect. This completely fixed it for me! The downside to all of this is Rockstar even shipping out broken installation discs.

HELP!!! i have the xbox 360 slim 250 GB but recently i bought GTA V and when i am already connected to xbox live and i start playing the game then it automatically disconnects me... i have tried deleting and re-download the profile but still.... i have even tried deleting the system cache...Does anyone have any idea to this problem?? Thanks

Having the same 5.1 problem as some others I've seen on the forum. No sound effects from the center channel.. Only dialogue. On 360. Anyone found a way around this? Using headphones instead at the moment.

Should I delete the Profiles, the 688 KB? Whatever happened to popping in a disc and playing the damn game?

 

How much free space do you have? I have a PS3, so I don't know much about the 360, but I would have at least 32, if not 64 GB, of free space for better performance. I've also heard that there are issues on one of the 360 install disks. This is a very intensive game, so the more resources and space you have, the better. I've heard that clearing up and defragging the HD also helps.

 

 

Xbox Is not a PlayStation you don't install them after copying from a disc (like a computer program) once console dumps the data to HDD its ready to play no need for overhead extra space. Having more free space does not improve gameplay in any possible way, you don't "defragg" xbox hard drives because its not possible so don't confuse the dude

Just trying to help. I forgot that you can play 360 games off of the HDD alone.

Rockstar is covering this up. I have looked it up there are multiple issues with the same problem everyone else is having with just this game they know it but refuse to find a solution. They made faulty disc and need to reimburse their customers instead of blowing us off because the game is unplayable
