PoopMonster
San Fierro was boring as f*ck in SA. Las Venturas too. Only Los Santos and countryside were great, i'm glad they focus on one city. BTW Now Los Santos alone is bigger than all SA cites combined. Shut your uncreative fanboy ass up, had Rockstar included SF and LV in GTA V you'd be raving about how great those places are. You fanboys always praise every feature that is included in GTA, but every feature that the fans want which is not included you fanboys call it boring or useless. Bunch of uncreative ass kissers who cant think outside the box of what Rockstar has created. I don't think he's a fan boy, he's being honest. Pity you couldn't construct a response without excessive "uncreative" foul language, young man.
notsoslimshady14
I guess Rockstar wanted to focus on one city, I really dont care since the map is so f*cking huge. Plus I heard that SA and V are separate universes, GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas are part of the "3D universe" while GTA 4 and 5 are part of the "HD universe". So I guess in the HD universe the rest of the islands are farther apart.
cjkuhlenbeck
I don't see why everyone doubts the return of SF and LV. Rockstar themselves said they were looking into adding to the map, and its always been their dream to go to the airport and fly to another city. They even said they were working with "old content" on the idea. Why would it take a long time? Chances are Rockstar has already been working on this, and it takes a couple of months for a single person to retexture the entire IV world. why would it take an industry 5 years? Retexture, remodel, add a few buildings, and space things out. Of course I'm oversimplifying it, but its really not outside of Rockstars ability. As far as Mt Chilliad, they already changed the map when they expanded LS. At this point map alterations are allowed. My personal opinion is we'll see either SF, LV, or VC added to 5 by the end of the year. But I don't think its necessary, They did an amazing job with LS
HITMAN1342
I would love to see those cities added, specifically Las Venturas; however, I do not feel short changed with an incomplete game by any stretch of the imagination. This is in fact the best GTA game to date, even though my favorites remain GTA III and GTA IV, this is the most advanced and smoothest of them all. Much fun to be had in this new San Andreas rendition, don't see how you can complain.
Official General
Nah we don't need San Fierro. Los Santos is so big and amazing in GTA V, that we really don't need San Fierro. Maybe Las Venturas would be better though.

slimjim420
They need to add the whole Bay to San Fierro, If they included Oakland and Silicon Valley the map would be bigger and more filled in then LS. Bay Area and LA have a strong rivalry so it would add another element to the game. Crew beef and what not.
seanforever
With the heaps of money they are making at the moment I could see San Fierro and Las Venturas making an appearance by 2015. With all that money they could make a gi-normous team at Rockstar. Vice City will probably be saved for last, most likely GTA 6. Might even be the finale. I think VI will be set in Vice City. 1 simple reason: Vice City and it's area haven't had a HD game yet. Then you could also go with San Fierro and/or Las Venturas, but that's the same state as V. That's also why I believe Vice City, San Fierro and Las Venturas wont be in GTA Online (until they have their own HD game): Rockstar wants them to give them the same respect as LS and LC and give them their own game. I doubt we will ever see another Miami rendition. Miami in the 80's was a very much different and iconic place than it is now. Its like comparing 1960's Detroit to present day Detroit. I don't think R* would do another 80s Vice City game. Edited September 29, 2013 by seanforever
LondonTipton91
The thing is. WE DON'T NEED THEM ANYMORE. You see, Las Venturas and San Fierro are over. We stopped ongoing wars in San Fierro and made a Las Venturas safer place. What more is there to do? I love San Fierro in 3D Universe, it was so fun! Loved those roads, up-down-up-down, cable cars, taking amazing photos of GGB. Venturas was amazing too. Loved going from the bay slowly throught the desert to the biggest city of them all. It was fun. I even did some mods and made the game look even better than HD Universe but it's not the same feeling as playing the GTA V. I like what cjkuhlenback said. We probably can expect another upgrade till the end of year. It's not the end. They are earning money better than ever. They can't end GTA saga, never. They will do more and more versions as the technology improves. But, what I would actually LOVE to see is GTA 6: Lost in Canada. Canada is so beautiful, that landscape and natural beauty will be so fun to explore. We already seen enough of this USA. Canada can be even better! Map consists 2 cities, Ontario and Vancouver, each on the completely other side of the maps with IMMENSE 'countryside' snowy hills and mountains, wild forests.. grandtheftchronic
Los venturas isn't a part of san andreas. Its seperate like gtas version of jersey (alderney?) And as for sf Ihave no clue. They apparently only wanted us to be on los santos and its outside desert.

tranceking26
Even without those 2 cities the map is plenty fun and big. Maybe they come later in online because it won't be restricted to one map (apparently) I would guess it's download or a seperate disc though - who knows. This game is still fresh, those who rush it have themselves to blame HoleInTheSky
Xcali1985
Oh I'm sorry almostrodney! I was unaware that you were not allowed to post a question because somebody else somewhere in the world has already asked it? You see I wouldn't mind but you should use the search function. But il let you off since your new Telling people to use the search feature is the most annoying response for any forum. With the million and one questions and complaints. This guy stated a legitimate one about a previous game and the links between them. It's a shame that so many people have complained on this forum that wolves are lurking to bash and slam anyone that asks a simple question. When you look at his points that Venturas and Fierro was linked to Andreas in the past and wondering why they are not is this game is a reasonable question. Im all for getting on the amazing amount of bitchers on this forum, but this one seemed legitimate. Take a deep breath before responding to post guys. Although i just wanted to say a few things. Mount chilliad is 1/3 the size of IV's map. that's huge. Also, I think we will see a map add-on at Christmas or around February/march if they don't feel ready yet. As Online looks right now, im assuming longer since it is complete sh*t CURRENTLY. But im 99% sure that we will see a older city, even IV since it is almost a "copy and paste job" (not exactly) , but if they did add IV, i would wonder if they would add suburbs to the IV map since that was the plan originally but couldn't do it due to technical stuff. not sure. Lastly, i think they will add on LV or SF as the last map pack extension in a couple of years to kind of finalize GTAV and Online for this generation. Then GTAVI will be a new city or Vice city. I hope they add LV so we can do some extremely cool casino heists. Just imagine the possibilities...
