Sir Puschkin
It seem there is maximum limit for cash. How do I know you might ask? Well after GoldCoast stock rise, I should have ended with 3.4 bil(no exploits, pure stock play). However after selling, game decided to limit me at $2,147,483,647. Really odd behaviour. I'm going to try Finkle guy and invest only couple hundred mil to see if I can go higher. Maybe you can't go above 2,999,999,999. Edit: OK so it doesn't want to go any higher. I used to (and occasionally still) play Runescape, and it's a very famous number there.
Apfeltasche
Some guy ( Gray Nicholson ) who's I've bring back his stolen Bickycyle yesterday, send me a E-Mail that says he was became rich some time ago. Then he spend me 100.000$ in shares of his company Animal Ark . Should I keep the shares or sell it? I am at 49% and has just fineshed the Paleto Score heist btw: I knew it would be better, be a good guy and bring all the stuff back... Do I understand it right, I can pick up this guy for his trip to the airport several times and get every time the money if I buy it before, and sell it later (after a few time save the game at a home)? To my knowledge he is only there once so you need to save him until the end. Anytime after you receive the 35 mil from the last heist would be good. Thank you! Ok I will wate Edited September 24, 2013 by Apfeltasche acemafia04

It's also one of double Mersenne primes! Maybe a nod from R* to good old days? If so, they really rock (pun intended)! SeaJey
i just held off on all the franklin-lester missions untill you get the big payout at the end, doing this lets you double your money pretty much, try and hold off till the stock has reached its top value too, as payouts can be bigger than expected after lester missions. reaaallly want that golf course. Dragon082
Just found out you have to play hotel assassination mission first, and can't wait for that one to the end like the rest of them. I don't have a lot of cash though to make a pay off this early with stock tips from Lester. I found out where the bike kid is who gives 100K in stock. Does he do this for all 3 characters or only one? Also is the best way to really get money early in the game before that required hotel mission to move on the underwater treasure? Thanks for the help guys

finath
OK, the assassin missions work great at the end. The guide here lacks one step though, you should buy Facade after selling Fruit, sleep enough times and you'll gain 33% as it goes back up. After that continue to the next mission and buy Vapid after it. Dragon082
Imperials09
Freshly registered since I got so much help from this. Figured I will shed some light on some stuff I noticed FROM MY GAME (This might differ from game to game? I'm going back and re-playing the game). Just finished the game. Haven't done any of the assassination missions besides the hotel one which is a must. ***SOME SPOILERS*** - Do NOT invest in Vangelico before doing the Vangelico Heist. After the stock drops, invest it in. Stocks should go back to normal after a while. I don't know how long. I didn't take careful notes. - Before the Hotel Assassination, invest in BettaPhar. Let it go up. Should go around 50%~. After it tops outm sell Betta and look for Bilkinton, It should be beyond its "lowest" point. The price will return to normal after a while. Again, don't know the time frame. ***TIP*** If you sleep and hit canel, it will still pass time. You just don't have to wait for it to save.*** - After the Molly mission, FlyUS stocks will drop due to the planes getting destroyed. Find when it bottom outs. Invest in them. Prices will go back to normal. Don't know time frame. - After your movie comes out, RichardsMajestics stocks drop ~30%, so don't invest... - Somewhere between the 4th heist and the last heist, AuguryInsurance goes up about ~50-100%, Must be from all the people you kill, and the importances of people killed. INVEST INVEST INVEST. - Last mission, DO NOT INVEST IN MERRYWHEATHER. GoldCoast doesn't change. Unless there is an actua l Gold Stock, prices aren't affected much. - Of course, save your Assassination and Twinkle. You might want to go find the Bike guy for 100k share so tou can maximize your profits during the main mission. I will go through the assassination missions and see what if stocks that bottom out will go back up. Question though. For all the heists, which options net a greater amount of money? Mainly talking about the Vangelio and the last heist. Quiet or loud? Edit...grammer hell. Sorry can't be bothered while watching football and typing this. I believe loud and obvious for the last one is easier for you to hit maximum profits. As for Vangelico, I've reached the end of the game and the price is still stuck at the bottom. So I think it's not the same for everyone
Imperials09
- After your movie comes out, RichardsMajestics stocks drop ~30%, so don't invest... It's been said to invest in RIM after you become an owner/producer and sell right before the premiere (so before "meltdown) - Of course, save your Assassination and Twinkle. You might want to go find the Bike guy for 100k share so tou can maximize your profits during the main mission. Could anyone point out the "stolen bike/AnimalArk stocks" guy in similiar fashion that toddfa did with Tinkle-guy ? Or some tips where to find him ? Mean Machine
Hi, guys. I'm new here by the way. I recently completed the storyline and various side missions. All my guys recieved 27 mill each after the final heist. Take Franklin for example. When I was done buying stuff and properties with him, he had about 10 mill left. Then I discovered that eCola was at an all time low (I can't recall exact numbers). And I went all in with Franklin and after a few days the shares soared and Franklin alone scored a nice 9 mill profit. A really interesting thread too with all these tips. I'll be sure to try them for myself. And don't be afraid of losing all your cash on the market. Simply have a backup save you can roll back to if things go south Edited September 24, 2013 by Mean Machine
XpliCT Murtaugh
To give you an idea of my game progress, I just recently completed the interrogation mission for the FIB, this is important since game progress comes into play for the LCN. I just invested all of my three characters money into (BIL) Bilkinton and within 10 minutes of gameplay and 2 in game naps here are my profits: Trevor Profit: $103,422.76 Return % 71.65 Owns 1724 shares Franklin Profit: $106,726.20 Return % 65.49 Owns 1877 Shares Michael Profit: $325,641.81 Return % 45.37 Owns 7267 Shares Currently BIL is Valued at $143.55 High $204.70 Low $71.86 I bought my shares at about $105. Hopefully this helps you make some money in your respective games.
Deathwish91
After thoroughly reading every post in this thread and googling many other sources I finally completed what everyone here is striving for. When I start any game I first go to the forums to see any tips. Luckily I saw that I needed to save the last 4 assasinations until the end! Here is what I did thanks to everyones help! Make sure to quicksave before you answer the phone just incase you make a mistake. You can always restart! Step 1: Invest in Debonaire before the mission. After the mission pull out of Debonaire and then INVEST in Redwood!!!! My Return= 300% Step 2: Invest in Fruit shares before the mission and cashout afterwards! My Return= 50% Step 3: Invest in Vapid AFTER you complete the mission. Cash out when you made your cut! My Return= 100% Step 4: Invest in Gold Coast Development before the mission and pullout afterwards! My Return= 80% Couldn't have done this without everyone else's help! And then: Go to hitch lift 1 with Michael(I saw someone do it with Franklin though) to pick the guy up. He should tell you about an increase in stock on the way to the airport. Before you pick the guy up though make sure all of your characters are invested in Tinkle stocks. Results: How much money do I need to have in the end to reach the 2 billion mark before I follow your strategy?

seanforever
How do you make money if you've completed all the missions (including Strangers and Freaks)? I'm not going to replay the story. The stock market. That is why R* puts that 150mill golf course right in your face. They want you to use it. Watch it like a hawk, and study it. I just saw the Ark stock drop to 11 dollars and go back up to 53, within a matter of 30 seconds. If I had invested 30 mill when that happened, I would have made what, 120 million I can only deduce things like this happen frequently.

PeaceOnesxWai
Heres another one I found after the Fruit stock assassination. Sell your Fruit stocks and purchase FACADE(Bawsaq)!! Then do the Vapid assassination and wait a bit. I found that if you sit in the car for a minute or 2 and hear the announcement about the Vapid assassination the market will start moving. Facade will jump 33% while Vapid stays. Buy Vapid then as it stayed the same for me. Also beware! I saved the game after assassination mission(Fruit stock mission) trying to see if stocks go past 50%.. I saved at this point and slept forward 6 hours, the % dropped down to 25% and when I tried to go back, it never went back up past this. I just missed out 20Mill!!! I believe the stocks that are on Bawsaq will change and not revert like LCN where there is a save point! So beware.
