toddfa
After thoroughly reading every post in this thread and googling many other sources I finally completed what everyone here is striving for. When I start any game I first go to the forums to see any tips. Luckily I saw that I needed to save the last 4 assasinations until the end! Here is what I did thanks to everyones help! Make sure to quicksave before you answer the phone just incase you make a mistake. You can always restart! Step 1: Invest in Debonaire before the mission. After the mission pull out of Debonaire(80% return) and then INVEST in Redwood!!!! My Return= 300% Step 2: Invest in Fruit shares before the mission and cashout afterwards! My Return= 50% Step 3: Invest in Vapid AFTER you complete the mission. Cash out when you made your cut! My Return= 100% Step 4: Invest in Gold Coast Development before the mission and pullout afterwards! My Return= 80% Couldn't have done this without everyone else's help! And then: Go to hitch lift 1 with Michael(I saw someone do it with Franklin though) to pick the guy up. He should tell you about an increase in stock on the way to the airport. Before you pick the guy up though make sure all of your characters are invested in Tinkle stocks. cksiz
Looks like doing Tinkle early killed my chance of $2bil. Challenge accepted though. I've been playing more realistic (big money, buying on uphills selling on downhills after memorizing stock prices because the percentages and graphs are BS) so hopefully that pays off for me and I can start the assassinations with a good enough base. Big money, multiple trades, low short term gain. But good long term. Since destroying cars for the scrap yard doesn't keep building like I thought. That could have been crazy. Liger_SE7EN
I came here to read about how to make money on stock and signed up to thank toddfa and all the others that contributed, These are my characters After I've bought all the properties and modded some vehicles and bought all the weapons and clothing and all the Ammo. greendev
Hi everyone! I wanted to ask if my strategy to make money is good enough to make big cash in the game. I've recently completed 60 main story missions. I did only Hotel Assasination and Multi Target Assasination, nothing more. Current cash:-Michael ~1500000$-Franklin ~1000000$ -Trevor ~500000$ My plan for future investments: 1. Before "Big One" (I'm guessing it's 69th mission, right?) gonna invest all the money with all the characters in Gold Coast Development. Than, after mission, sell it. 2. After beating story missions gonna rob shops and use treasure glitch to make ~1000000$ more for each character. 3. Than do Vice Assasination and beforehand invest all the money with all the characters in iFruit. After 3xsave procedure sell it. 4. Than do Bus Assasination and invest all the money with all the characters after the mission in Vapid. How long should I wait to sell it again? 4. Than do Construction Assasination and again invest (beforehand) all the money with all the characters in Gold Coast Development. After 3xsave procedure sell it. 5. Finally invest all the money with all the characters in Tinkle, do the hitch lift afterwards. After 3xsave procedure sell it. I'm not sure about 5th step, explanation needed. Are these steps correct if I want to make really big money and be able to buy all the properties? How much money I can count on, after doing everything? Thanks in advance for your help! novesori
Yeah I think it's not always 3x save. What I do, is Quicksave the game, then go sleep (you can sleep without saving), then look at the stock, when the stock is higher, save again and sleep. Then you can sell. After the first Assasination I slept 3x times in row, but the stock was always at +49,99% and don't move. Doesn't know why, so I sell it. Others get +80% on the same stock. Astrovik
1. Before "Big One" (I'm guessing it's 69th mission, right?) gonna invest all the money with all the characters in Gold Coast Development. Than, after mission, sell it. So the stock price for Gold Coast Development rises after the final heist? Why's that? Edited September 23, 2013 by Astrovik

Sirpepperoni
Can someone help me out? I'd really appreciate it for the last mission the big one, I should invest in Gold Coast? Then since I have only the last assassination left, should I invest all my cash from the big one into Gold Coast aswell and hope it maxes my return? Ulfhethnar
I invested in Gold Coast before The Big Thing and the price only dropped after I gave it it some time so I sold it. Maybe it is for the mission after that. Edited September 23, 2013 by Ulfhethnar
Sirpepperoni
Yeah I read somewhere else to invest in maze bank before the big one... However it makes sense to invest in hold coast since your stealing gold
Liamvxr
What I've found with the stock market LCN (After the game) is that it takes turns going up and then down by small percentages which is fairly good if you have 120m+ and want to reach that 150m mark (assuming you have no assassination missions left). So get ready to invest all your capital into say beanmachine however don't buy and just watch the value (on the right) as soon as it goes down then click buy and you'll usually get an ROI on average of around 0.06 give or take, but that small percentage can mean another 100-200k. Only method I've found after finishing the game. Just remember to sell as soon as you get a positive ROI since it won't fluctuate much. It doesn't always go up then down but you've just got to anticipate when it will. Another tip would be to buy just 1 share in the market of your choosing and see what changes take place. blackhelmet
I think people are wrong with investing in Gold Coast before the final heist. It's a real estate company, no? It has nothing to do with the price of gold, it just has gold in the name.

ibsmokin
In the beginning when you have no money dump all the cash you can in Krapea stock!! I played through the game and did the assassination missions as they came up all the while investing like Lester hinted at. I made alot of money but my mistake was I never thought to wait till the very end payout which was obviously coming and I never reinvested in the stock that was initially hurt by the assassination. The main two being bilkinton and redwood. They seemed to be the ones that bounced back the most. I pay pretty close attention to the market and my roomate just started his own save file and I noticed there are a few stocks that later in the game are quite high and in the beginning are quite low. For instance Krapea (my roomate is about 7 or 8 missions in maybe and he's done a side mission or two) stock is at just under $5. On my save where the story is complete Krapea's stock is at $150. Now I don't think you need to be a mathematician to figure out that's insane growth!! If a person were to just keep pumping funds into that throughout their play I think they would amass a serious investment! Especially if you put to use an infinite money trick early in the game. I'm not sure how fast this stock climbs I just know it climbs so I think its best to just keep funneling money into it. Another one of These stocks is Goldcoast in the early stages of the game, what I'm seeing is it's at about $60 and after the last assassination mission it gets over $400 so while that isn't quite as great as the Krapea stock it is still a wise choice. Haven't really tried manipulating it with blowing stuff up just watch the up and downs and make a few hundred k at a time. Cluckin Bella's stock went up about 50% somewhere along the way as well. Liamvxr
Keep an eye out on the homepage of the stock market since it will have 3 stories on the right hand-side related to current stocks. For example one of these stories stated "Bean Machine uses tax loopholes to win big. Stocks rise. I managed to get a ROI of 0.66 which after the 147m I invested returned 900k+ It might have been more but I was away from the console. The one problem that we have to watch out for is that each players stocks tend to differ in one way or another. On one persons stock I've seen Redwood max out at 125 whereas another would max at out 400. From what I can tell they all grow at a set percentage BUT their numbers are different. When posting these guides I wouldn't go buy their actual ingame number, just what kind of % growth they had. I rely appreciate the work you put in explaining all of this. can you just clarify on what approximate values we should be selling the stock at after the assassination mission. for example, at what value should debonaire be sold at post mission and what value should redwood be sold at after buying it post tank? with that info, you would have created the perfect guide for us
