thanks for all the hard work on uncracking these guys... really cant wait for the invincibility cheat.... i just beat the game a couple days ago finally and now i want to raise hell with out dying...

 

im sure this has already been said but .... are you guys also checking the cheats from liberty city stories/vice city stories/ gta 3/ vice city..along with the san andreas ones youve tried?....

 

i only suggest the liberty city stories and vice city stories cause a lot of the time those get forgotten..any way... good luck guys

I know people have been doing the SA cheats and found most, But what if there is some from older games like Vice City, or Gta 3.

I would try it, but I don't know how to solve the up button to whatever because that button is not activated for cheats in V

A good way of starting to find more, is simply just to find cheat codes for previous GTA games. Maybe they will contain different or even similar cheats for GTA 5

 

But don't be supprized if most of them dosen't work. But it would be a fun thing to see.

 

I remember a cheat for San Andreas when I use to play that. I don't remember what the cheat was for, but it was..

R1, R2, L1, R2, <, v, >, ^, <, V, >, ^.

 

 

it seemed like there was an algorithm for converting SA cheats to GTA V. for 360, it was: LT/RT=LB/RB, Black/White=RT/LT, Up/Down=Right/Left

 

This worked for most of the cheats that were already found, but I tried to convert the SA infinite health cheat and it didn't work. same with the never wanted and super jump cheats.

 

I bet they HAVE been disabled, but probably because there was a bug or they didn't work. Cheats are one of the last things the designers do (if they want to add cheats) before releasing the game. I am expecting a patch or they will be sneaked in on the Oct. 1 GTA:O patch. The only other option is that they are way different from the algorithm above and if thats true, they may take a while to find.

 

Enabling the cheats might be one of the last things, but having worked on QA I can assure you that these cheats were part of the debug builds of the game. These types of cheats are used by the testers all the time.

 

I don't really know how that works.

 

But Rockstar has always kept cheats avalible for their GTA games. It's up to us, to find the cheats.

And it might be as you say, that they've put in a few cheats for us to find, untill they patch and add more cheats.

 

I'd say it would be a rather wierd desition to not add more cheats then what we've already found.

Either all the cheats are avalible to be explored now, or maybe they'll patch in some more, time might show, as we've gotta find the cheats too.

If there are any more.

 

At least I really hope there are, cause I'm getting pretty sick and tired of the cops, and how their helicopters spawn at the tip of your nose.

 

Even when flying at the worlds roof with a jet, you can see those f*ckers spawn up there xD Words can't describe how frustrating that can be sometimes.

How it works is the game designers and QA teams are looking for problems with the game. So they have "Cheats" which allows them to cancel say player death, or running out of ammo so they can just mess around in the game looking for activities or events that cause a problem to crop up.

 

Now on a side note to this, I hope they don't go the Saints Row route and charge for them as DLC.

That's a good point. After I joined Rockstar Social Club, I got this SMG for free at the Guns n ammo shop. I bet they've already desided to go down the SR road, by dealing out DLC's. That's how the market has come down to, as they know there's alot of money in it.

 

I personally think it's stupid, that you can buy your win, but they think about the money, and I can't really blame them.

BUT! comparing GTA 5, with CoD Black Ops 2, it took black ops 2, 13 days, to reach over a bilion dollars income. (This took GTA 5, 3 days) All thanks to pre-orders of the game. I pre-ordered GTA 5 about a year ago, something I've never done before. And I'm definatley not the only one.

 

They've already earned back the budget of the game, and +.

 

But I'm glad they got this succsess, I've enjoyed GTA since GTA 3. Also played 1 and 2, but never owned them.

That's what the "Phone_Denied" cheat is, it makes sense since the only reason police come is if someone pulls out their phone and calls them.

Yes, you can. However, this cheat string that was found could very well be just the function in the coding. Open the phone, turn it to sleep mood, and the function is the string that was discovered.

The slowmo cheat is fun for about 27sec. No matter what level it's set to it turns off if I exit a vehicle, enter a vehicle, change weapons, etc.
