There is so much misinformation out there that I don't know what to believe until I see it myself. Robbo1987 Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 As franklin you can smoke a joint at home, When you sit on the couch you can watch tv etc and also smoke a joint which makes things go a bit fuzzy and bright coloured etc etc, You can also get drunk but you cant drink drive. I got franklin plastered and as soon as I got in the car he instantly sobered up, He also doesn't fall about anywhere near as much as niko did in GTA IV. I think they've possibly removed drink driving from it. I'll be honest, it's a good game but I think the expectations have been set to high, I'm mainly dissapointed with the lack of interiors. I've seen the weed shop called "high time" but you can't go in just like you can't go in cluckin bell and burger shot etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't even seen anyone get drunk and drive yet, either. SPOILER Watched a guy go into a bedroom with Michael and smoke out of a bong. Hid did so three times in a row. It looked like the only thing that happened was the screen getting brighter...like, turning up the gama type bright. Not sure if controls were slowed down for reaction time though. But that's because when you switch to a character they will sometimes have a small cutscene before you play as them. So that's why you saw franklin walking out with a cutscene style camera view.
