The kind of ritual that requires of you an absolute abstinence of getting into any pre-release informations. This way, our first time with the game is something much more special. But now I feel the ritual is being broken by the constant flow of pre-released info about the game's content. And it's breaking the magic. That very first moment when you launch a disc, enter the game, and suddenly... you feel so motherf*cking-cock-in-your-mouth strange. Like, you start to realize, for the very first time, that you're no longer looking at the game from a perspective of promotional images. You realize, that you're finally, for the first time, looking at the final product from a player perspective. You learn how the game actually looks, from your own perspective - not someone elses. Well, you know what I mean! But in today's times, the magic is gone. YouTube videos, GTAForums with plenty of topics discussing the game's content before its even released, lots of screenshots leaking onto the net. In short, all these things are killing the 'mystery' feeling that compans you when you launch the game for the first time. Now you probably wonder... "hey, if you want to have that stupid magic ritual, why looking at the leaked videos, you stupid f*cking hipster sh*t!". Here's the answer: THOSE VIDEOS, SCREENSHOTS AND INFORMATIONS ARE ALL f*ckING HARD TO AVOID. Yes, they are! I wish to avoid them, but the thing is - I'm human! I'm weak! It's easy for me to break my magic ritual because of my inner, human curiosity. 10 years ago I wouldn't have that problem - there wasn't YouTube, and so the feeling of mystery, that feeling of "sh*t, I'm so wondering how this GTA V looks like!", would stay. But it's 2013, and everything must f*cking leak. Now I know how the first mission looks like, I know exactly what to expect from the driving mechanics, I've already read about some dynamic situations that occur when you walk around the city. I will know a little more what to expect, but no different than when I had to watch other people play San Andreas or GTA III for 10 hours before I got my turn. "Oh this old bullsh*t again.." Yaaaawn. I don't let some random kid's opinion on driving physics "RUIN" a video game experience like this.. I watched a free roam stream in HD for about 45 minutes.. If it really was your mission to avoid any spoilers then your best bet was to avoid these forums, that was your first mistake.
