Ive always laughed at people that go to these things.

 

Oh how the tables have turned. Everyone in the office laughed at me when I told em the reason I was booking Tuesday off work.

I can't, since my local GameStop is in a mall, and they won't put staff in the mall, just so "some nerds can get a game", as the security guard so beautifully put it. I'll have to wait till 4pm on Tuesday!

I may or may not go. They expected around 60-70 people going to the midnight release. It also varies what I have in store and how many people are going and if I do, then I'm going to chill with my friend at his house. And I have stuff stored later that day. Just depends on how I feel and such...

Maybe.. i'm gonna have call first to see if they're expecting a geek-horde, and when they expect it to clear out. If no, I'll happily wait out Tuesday. It's not like the game will be worse if I play it a day later.

I decided today that I'm going. My GS said they expect about 150 people. I'll go there around 9, get my number, and go back up there around 11:30. Not sure I want to stand around for 3 hours.

I paid the game in full the day I pre-ordered, so thinking about getting there a little before 12am. Do you think that will be ok? Do not feel like waiting at the store for 2 or 3hrs prior to the release time.

Not sure how your store does it, but my GameStop said to come in around 9 to get my receipt exchanged for a number in the queue. Then come back in around 11:15-11:30 to get in the final line for the midnight release.

 

Luckily my store is only 10 minutes away.

I won't talk bad about those who go to these launches BUT I chose NOT to. I am more than happy to pick up my copy on Tuesday morning at 10 AM. Not a big deal, I just graduated from University and am having a blast enjoying my time at home. Gonna get a good night's sleep and wake up fresh to GTA V !!! HELL YEAH BABY

Got my call from Gamestop bout the midnight release I got one next to a 24 hour Walmart going to get their right before 10 get my final receipt than go buy munchies from Walmart

I've gotta work early in the morning so I'll just take the 1 minute drive during lunch to go from the store to EB Games and pick it up on Tuesday.
