When I saw a live stream I jumped on it and watched for a good hour or so, after that hour I was like "wtf am I doing, I am ruining my first experience with this game" and stopped watching... ever since then the little voice in the back of my mind is saying " watch some more WATCH IT", I load it up and close it within 10 seconds, Ive done this like 40 times. I find it took away a bit of the hype for me and ive lost the rush of finding something awesome for myself on a few things. I know I did it to myself and its my fault for watching the streams, but I am weak when it comes to a game ive been waiting 3 years for. game companies should find a way to to release a code on release day so the game will not work untill you enter the code.. or have the game connect online (lots of people will hate that) to the game companies servers to make sure its release day. It's annoying that people get to play the game before others. Some people have already finished the game. That's crazy thinking that the game isn't even out yet officially. Then the guilt sets in, i've lasted all these years, only to be tempted by the temptress that is Magic Mike's last stream! In all seriousness tho, I'm back at work tomorrow, no chance to watch any of these things, won't even get to read the reviews until I get home in the evening, so, a good 24hrs break from these streams will help, and, thankfully, I have a memory like a goldfish! TheNextGTAprotag Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 i've basically watched beginning to end and to be honest, my hype only increased as i cannot wait to experience it all myself. there is so much mission diversity that i found myself constantly seeing alternatives and better ways to play each mission, hedge bets on stock market and utilise weaponry and vehicles differently. I think this game will have fantastic replay value and even though i basically know the ending i also know i can shape mine differently. bring it on!! A1iiiiii Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 So far I watched a bit of free roam with boats, bmx, a car and a bulldozer, nothing about the story or something that could spoil the game for me. what really bugs me is that i just clicked on a facebook video showing footage of a helicopter flight. this kinda took away the excitement for my first flight ingame. I'm no expert, but why don't let us pre load textures, code or whatever say on the 10th of September (STUFF THAT WONT SPOIL THE GAME, NO AUDIO ETC) I know this may sound stupid, and I'll look like a n00b but vehicles were found out from a list, the list name right? Couldn't they just be generic names? Let us preload stuff that won't spoil anything before hand, then essential files around 2 days before hand? By the time it's hacked and leaked the game will be out? I was thinking have a purposefully placed, game breaking bug that can be patched day 1... but then not everyone will be connected?... Shows more of the game than the sh*tty free roam. It's boredom. If you guys loved San Andreas, you'll love GTA V, diverse missions, and a f*cking action packed story from the beginning to the end.
