DobertReniro Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 (edited) For people still wondering and creating a billion threads in search of answers, here's what we can do in free roam regarding Hobbies and Pastimes (from BradyGames Guide): Arms Trafficking Air Arms Trafficking Ground Assassinations Bail Bonds (Bounty Hunting) - Trevor Only* Parachuting Taxi Missions Flight School Hunting - Trevor Only* Off-Road Racing Property Management (side-missions available every few days ranging from; Whack this person, Steal this, Deliver this, Rescue him/her or race/chase that car)*description by TheRealBars Sea Races Street Races Shooting Range Sports: Darts, Golf, Tennis, Triathlons. Strip Club Towing Yoga Also*: Rampages Trophies Biker Ambushings Armoured Van Robberies Hidden Packages Ufo Parts Scraps of a letter(50) Nuclear Waste Collection Spaceship Parts Aerial Challenges Stunt Jumps Properties Submarine Pieces Epsilon Tracts * 49 Random Events (mini-missions, such as ATM Robberies, that may reappear, although in the guide they are numbered, such as Mugging 1, Mugging 2, etc.) If you have ever played Red Dead Redemption, you are aware of what I mean by Random Events. *Storyline Missions: 69 Missions. There are 82 Missions listed in the guide, which most probably represent the main missions broken down into every sub-mission. Other things people are mentioning: Knife Fights - mentioned by iNero As you can see, there is no casino gambling included in free-roam. Cinema is also not included in the activities, although the Cinema icons do appear on the map, which means there are Cinemas, but they are not considered as part of "Hobbies/Pastimes". *Thanks to TheRealBars for filling in some of the things I missed. More sh*t to do than IV.. i don't know why people expect a life simulator or something... some of these side missions are bad ass. not really activites imo... this game starts to dissapoint me more and more... we have more f*ckin sports than criminal activities.. what happend to gang wars, drug selling, fight club why improve melee and then dont let fight club make a return why including gangs and show them in all the trailers when you have no real activity to fight them why make Trevor look like he is totally in drugs and being able to use drugs and then you cant even sell them or deliver them like in IV? Did you read my post about managing properties? Its far from legal lol.. Then again, rampages, trafficking (Air and ground), bounty hunting and assassination are alot deeper than the sports. Random events, especially the Biker ambushes, hostage and armored vans could double as their own f*cking missions in my opinion and they re-appear as well! Nero... i think you are a f*cking tool/troll... get the game and then bitch you don't know what you talking about i gather from these past few days.. According to this list, in addition to what could be missing, I think there are more than enough criminal activities, especially in comparison to GTA IV. To add to my previous: Theres more random events out there, some take more than 5-10 minutes to complete if you choose to step in. My favorite is the failed drug deal where along the road in the middle of nowhere somewhere a drug deal went wrong, some guy asks you to help him and if you do you're fighting of waves and waves of gangs while moving to his car and getting a huge ass reward for it. Or the failed robbery.. where you act as their wheelman if you choose to do so. Armored van mini-heists are awesome as well, they are pretty rare but you see them every now and then loading up at the bank, a store or just on the highway.. They're heavily armored and guarded by armored guards with shotguns.. once you manage to wrestle in from them get it somewhere quiet blow open the doors (While having 3-4 stars) and get anywhere between 4 and 25k.
