Eurogamer gave Red Dead an 8 back in the day and have been on 2K's sh*t list ever since. GTA IV got a 10 when it clearly did not deserve it and IGN got suspected of being paid off / Rockstar ass kissers. I also doubt this game will get a 10 because imo it doesnt deserve one (I have played it at my mates). Its a good game (f*cking sh*tS on GTA IV in everyway apart from vehicle damage / car handling) however alot of GTA V's promises were BS and the single players has taken a back seat sadly. f*ck were gaming is going like seriously f*ck it. No game is perfect If you look on IGNs explanation of there review scoring system they make the same point as you do, they express that no game can be perfect but refer to a 10 point score as a game that is as close to perfect as they could possibly hope for. They are in supreme ass-kiss mode, though I think that may just be because their employees really love what they've seen/ played of gtaV.
