The guy has a point, this is why users like to see actual gameplay and not being left in the dark about it all. It was only a few days before the release that we finally got to see the true driving mechanics and it is not anything what rockstar boasted it to be. Actually, Rockstar did show off some of the driving in official gameplay trailers. What I saw in leaked footage was mostly what I expected. Totaly agree. Any artist (I use the word artist not literally but as a all encompassing title musician/artist/director/actor/games developer etc) knows that as soon as any copy of there work is in anyway public it opens it up to be pirated and your work abused in some way. In an ideal world this wouldn't happen. But short of literally not pressing the game until the 16th, leaks and therefor the inevitable critism is sure to follow not to far behind. According to the article this thread was about "experts believe the game will make Rockstar 1billion in the first year" that's a lot of cash! So let the haters hate, let the people speak there minds and so on... I'm sure every single employee at Rockstar are more then happy with the work they have put into creating this game and once the winds of sh*t have passed and the sh*t tsunami subsides I'm sure we will all also enjoy there creation. Rockstar have been working on this for 5 years and planned to release the game to to the whole world at basically the same time. You expect a few indie game shops to sell games early but Amazon? They know that Rockstar can't really do anything because withdrawing Amazon as a supplier would not be good for sales, too many people use it. It's even worse when you consider Amazons shady tax avoidance in the UK. Bully tactics. Good news for those who received the game early though. No arguing that. I also understand what with the volume places such as amazon have had to ship, them taking the insurance policy of shipping earlys to avoid angry mail from people who got it late. 4 days early is better then 4 days late and what with word of mouth means people in future will place an order with the early shippers in hopes they to get it a few days before release date Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have just talked to a guy from Microsoft who said and I quote "you cannot be punished for early delivery of your game." he continues "I get most games a few days early" somewhat unprofessional sounding I know "we are banning people who are currently playing pirated copies of the game and who are taking there leaked content to beyond a point we feel is acceptable" He ended by saying " I have looked personally at a lot of the early talk about the game and can categorically say a lot of it is unfounded. I find the game to be somewhat of a masterpiece, with only some minor issues that will not detract from the fun of the overall experience. Enjoy GTA V."
