You need to be careful with your grammar.

 

Your title suggests the weapons are small, when in fact I assume you mean there are fewer weapons than you thought.

Is anyone else disappointed about the lack of weapons? There's barely more then what GTA 4 had.

 

I have a vid of Ammunation but won't post it as it has spoilers. There seems to be a good variety of armaments but don't forget you can customize as well. So it balances itself out.

Yes, from what we have seen so far there are at least 20 weapons in GTA V, we only had 15 on GTA IV, that's already an improvement, there's still more coming in the DLC.

To the OP:

Before complaining about the game get some facts.

 

I have the game dude. They said there would be more weapons then any other GTA but they obviously lied about that.

 

And it is the biggest gun collection in any GTA game, you have at least 20 and there will be more.

It's the third time I have said this.

Also if you have the game... Go play it!!!

So I am confused what the f*ck the problem is besides that you OP are a f*cking moron. Where di they say they will have a BF3 armory for GTA V? Nowhere, they CLEARLY SAID "There will be more guns in GTA V than there was in any single GTA game to date".

 

Nothing about there being a limitless amount of weapons to choose from... Sigh, as we near the release date more and more retards keep showing up. you can modify your weapons, f.e. put a silencer on a pistol which offers a lot of different weapons of the same type.

I'm trying to avoid things until I play myself, but I've only wanted to know a few things about the game. I know them all except this: Is the AA-12 in the game? The Shotgun from TBoGT?

:lol: Remember the simple good ole' days when in each GTA, one could at least be safe to expect the guns from the previous game with a few add-ons? Forget about that. Welcome to the new age. Tennis, Yoga, and DLC!!! Expecting anything more is whining!

I will never be "dissapointed" with V, but I am hoping there is a little more on release than IV had.

 

Weapons wise? Easily covered.

Vehicles wise? Without a doubt and can cover it probably three times.

Story wise? Ohhhh yes, muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better (and I liked GTA IV's story to).

Atmosphere wise? Easily, even more so than the vehicles part (yeah the atmosphere is THAT good).

City size? I would say it feels about the same size as LC (Just talking about LS and only LS)

Rest of the map? Heh, this is the part that is crazy, because the city of LS feels HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE, but the outskirts of LS are even bigger.

 

Everything has been improved upon from IV. Driving is the only thing I would say that can be debatable as that is a subject that is very personal from person to person. I personally like it over IV but that is all I will comment on it.

 

Weapons though, there are more than IV had AND you can mod them which WILL change how they behave, attract attention and functionality.

 

OP is a whiney little bitch who has this sense of entitlement that GTA V should be boasting the largest armory of any game of all time.

Not worried... i prefer to have 20-something guns instead of having a huge arsenal weapons that include a dildo bat, dubstep gun, ray gun and shark gun.

Things change, plain and simple. And you won't even use half the guns in GTA V, trust me, you will upgrade one you like and be using it most of the game. It is more like GTA IV/III/SA/VC where each weapon is a pure upgrade in almost every category over its previous version. Only a few guns categories are worth having two of. But honestly, did you really expect them to include a BF sized armory for GTA? They have so much more to worry about than what guns they add in the game. 20 before melee and explosives is plenty of options. If that isn't enough then you wont be satisfied with anything anyways.

 

Not to mention the era of DLC and micro transactions. There are 12 (IIRC) extra spots for weapons on an adjacent wall from the vanilla guns. The only people to thank for this kind of sh*t happening is the people who prove that it is profitable to put out 3$ content packs of useless sh*t that should be included. These people are the kind of people who have ruined games being released with full content and forcing you to pay 15-25 bucks to get what should have been included in the game originally. When we get full on stories or sh*t like Shivering Isles for Oblivion or EFLC for GTA IV, THAT is DLC. That is content worth paying for, but the sh*t that gets bought on the MP is the little sh*t content packs that devs make thousands and thousands of free dollars off.

 

If we didn't have so much demand for these sh*t packs of content they wouldn't exist and these packs would just be in the game vanilla. Look at what EA does, they sell CONTROL SETTINGS even for money. Like, are you f*cking joking me? DLC is no longer DLC, it is what can we charge for anything. I would bet EA will be charging DLC for the case of their games in a year, so you just get one of those little sleeves for their games unless you pay the 5$ case charge. Too many people saying f*ck it, its 3 bucks, "why not?" or "what harm can this do?". Sadly, it does a lot of harm.

from all the artwork we spotted 12 pistols alone. I'm confused as to why they wern't put in(pistols my fav), when i'm sure it could be easily done. Unless ofcoure, as was said, you unlock more as the story progress

- I know that it isn't very common, but gun stats aren't the only thing that makes me decide what gun to use. I simply like some variety, regardless of one weapon being better than another. Still, I know that this is just a personal preference, and R* needs to appeal to the majority of fans without being too specific,but a bigger arsenal just sounds appealing to me.

 

-Sadly, it is the era of DLC. I wish this was something positive to say, but it's not. The typical " Look, we got a pack of new items that either make you the best f*cking player ever or make you spend your money in useless crap that you don't need, but will still buy! Why? Because f*ck you, give us money." Yes, there are still good examples of DLC, like the ones you mentioned, but normally DLC shouldn't be something that you specifically need, but instead something that is useful, but that still doesn't interfere with the quality or appeal of the "vanilla" product. And I feel that the fact that R* is charging us for weapons in a crime game is kinda wrong. I mean,instead of releasing,let's say,30 guns,1 dollar each, why not create "Episodes from Los Santos" and charge 30 dollars for it? Just a thought.

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be more guns. But 20 before melee and explosives is a lot. I also do not go for stats on guns, especially in a GTA game. I used the AK over the m4 every time in IV. Why? Because why not?

 

What I meant by that is that the game already boasts a large number of weapons, a number that they said to be true. No specific number just more than any other single GTA game.

 

Selling guns, cars, clothing items, etc. as DLC or micro transactions is just f*cking BS. I will say though, that a lot of games (or at least the games I have played) don't give too many or any advantages to customers who pay for those packs, just new stuff to wear or whatever. But it still is dumb, especially a game that will be bought for 60 dollars.

 

A F2P game? They literally NEED a cash shop or micro transactions, it is how they stay a float. Rockstar games? LOL, they could donate more than half their current wealth and still be doing better than most game companies. The worst part, is these types of transactions are far more popular than DLC that should actually be called DLC like EFLC. Which translates into Developers ears, lets end development a few months early and have like 10 packs of sh*t on the marketplace when the game launches. This will be no different for Rockstar, they will likely have a few new weapon and car and clothing packs for sale the second it is released. This will lead to these types of transactions leading the way for game development and become the go to way to make games. I can already see games coming out with hardly any content and all of it being available on the MP after you paid 600+ for your new console, probably 80 for the new game and then whatever else they want to charge for the rest of the game in the MP. Seems like every month games are focusing more on what they can release to the MP and not what they can include in the f*ckin game.

Not to mention social club addons, which are basically free, and only requires you to sign on... of course, for pirates, that might be a problem.

how do we get these do we just sign up then download on our Xbox? or do we just get them straight away?
