I thought I'd take this time to create a thread where the users on this forum could show their appreciation. Not all users will be coming back and I thought this would be a nice send off. This entire week we've been seeing a lot of bashing in multiple threads. It's time for some positivity. I've made some friends and enemies on this forum, it's been an incredible few years. R1C3W1N3 Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 The games not out and people are judging it from leaks It's been one year ten months or 692 days since the first trailer, can't believe we're almost here... only other game I've been hyped for was Metal Gear Solid 4, but this just tops it, rewinding the trailers my self for easter eggs, timing how long it takes to travel across liberty city, scaling and comparing against LS lol look at the mapping thread, they made two thirds of the map just from screenshots! They haven't said much about the game; which I'm glad about, of course we want info and gameplay but they're saving that for us! I've been here lurking lately and I see how much negativity and hate people are sending out. What people don't realise is the 90% of them will be saying how amazing the game is in just a couple of days time. In regards to the driving 'scandal' its fair to say that the driving in V looks very different to the driving in IV however does different mean bad? That's for people to answer for themselves but if people really do think the driving is terrible once they have played the game for themselves (which most probably won't) then we all know that Rockstar will fix it, why? Because they are the best game developer ever, one that I have been supporting for 15 years. In regards to interiors people need to understand that not every single interior will be open from the start of the game, you most likely need to progress through the story first! Maybe everything I'm saying is wrong, but in the next couple of days we will all find out and be able to express our true feelings for a game we have been waiting so many years for rather than go off of what we've seen in 4 minute streams. Time will tell but my whole hearted faith goes into Rockstar and I'm more excited for V than I have ever been. Because when has Rockstar failed us? Stewlil Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Without going into the driving scandal, which I will admit I'm a major part of, I do love this place, have been reading it for the last 9 years and plan to do so for the next 9 years too. It's a shame that this place has become increasingly filled with people who would rather throw immature insults than have a good old fashioned constructive debate, but hey times change, and I'm not going anywhere. The best part of the forums for me is right after the initial release of a game when we all speculate on specific sh*t from the game.
