NFPM Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 In real life spoilers are added to the back of the car to creat down force and make the car have more grip and "grab" the asfalt more. Where there's a spoiler, the faster you go the stronger the downforce effectively increasing the weight of the car to counteract the reduction in applied pressure on the ground that velocity creates.
