Gutslab Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 I've watched a lot of gameplay leaks and I have to say, these are two changes I actually welcome. Regarding dying easily, it's like you have to think before you decide to pull some big move. So being able to break into the military base and actually steal one of their vehicles should be seen as a big accomplishment in the game. Every streamer I watched who tried this died within a minute of entering the base. I wouldn't say that is too realistic but you would have to come up with a plan and maybe even need online support from friends to do a successful break-in. You can die easily from car crashes too. The instant explosions are nice. Makes sense, maybe next time you won't decide to ramp off an overpass going at 150mph... As for the police aggressiveness, it is pretty awesome. In previous GTAs it was too easy to get away or to keep being chased for a long time until you finally got bored. They proactively attack the player and at the same time can be avoided by using some hiding tactics. However, the way they slam into the player's car could be toned down a little but overall the way police react to you when you're wanted is improved. littleBIGman Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Watched a guy earlier manage to steal a jet, he was then pursued by another jet who locked him up and fired missiles at him, one hit disabling his rudder, after a minute or two the engines failed and he had to eject. GTA-iFruit Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 I don't get why people are complaining, I thought GTA IV was easy lol but if its over powered something should be done, but I like a challenging game but to have a 1 star cop over power you with a pistol is kinda uncalled for, Patches will be made people an its up to rockstar to fix those or dub it down! I had a hard time with GTA IV and now I'm pretty good at driving, shooting and flying, so I'm sure it will just take a few days or a week to settle into V as well. It's going to be more frustrating, but more realistic. The good news is that it also appears that everybody dies more easily. When you, the player, are taking out enemies, it takes only one or two shots to bring them down, which is finally more realistic or at least less frustrating that having to empty a whole clip just to put down one guy.
