I'm going to a midnight launch tomorrow night at my local Game store, I'm picking up two Special Editions for the Xbox 360, one for me and one for my faincee, (I'm buying it for her ) so I thought I would ask... What song can you think of that will go with the GTA 5 midnight launch event? I thought of this one, it's called All Over The World by the Electric Light Orcestra. Great you enjoyed Didn't get to see them this year but have 3 times before and loved every time. Wasted Years is a brilliant song as well Blood Brothers would be another suitable song as well. Especially ELO and Maiden who I got to see during the Dance of Death tour back in my younger days. And did someone mention Floyd? One of my favorite bands, I got to see Roger Waters perform Dark Side of the Moon from start to finish in Hyde Park about 6 years ago, best gig I've ever been to. This is a solo by David Gilmour from their Live In Pompeii concert, it absolutely blows my mind everytime I listen to it! From is small collaborations with Paul McCartney or Rod Stewart to solos like Comfortably Numb or On The Turning Away Live at Pompeii is one of the most iconic concerts of them, just Echoes blows everything away. One of my favourite solos is in fact the version of On The tUrning Away on The Delicate Sound Of Thunder, I mean it puts it on another dimension. He's one of the reasons I fell in love with guitar. I'm wearing my steel toe capped boots to the midnight release because recently all the street lights turn off at midnight in my town (energy saving apparently) so I wonder if there will be any little bitches trying to steal off people coming home with the game.
