colonelfrost8 Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) at the end of the day. this argument over driving in gta v is pretty ridiculous and silly. ive never seen so many people complain over something so damn minor. arcade or not, this game willl still be fun. its acually pretty hilarious how serious people take something like this. gta 6 will come out and people will start complaining that the driving isnt like gta 5. its like the steak argument on these boards. i know this game is about cars. but sill.... this game isnt about real life. its a GAME! its not going to be perfect. people cant appreciate things any more.... I've seen a lot of V and cars get effed up but take longer. The suspension is tighter and they grip to the road better. After watching a few streams I have to say everything is as good asI thought, even better actually - graphics, details, water, melee, shooting, customisation, it's all amazing, but.. The driving is really disappointing, it really does look like saints row and sleeping dogs sh*t! But apparently franklins ability makes it arcades and the other two handle more like IV, I hope anyway! The damage is shocking aswell, head in collisions at 100mph doesn't do enough damage, I even saw a car reverse into another car at a decent speed and it didnt even break a light, lol! But the bulldozer and the train absolutely wrecks the car so the damage is still there, even better than IV actually, but they seriously need to soften the cars up.. I'm still really excited to play the game and hopefully the handling feels better than it looks.. ihope they dont. i saw a video where a guy crashd into a wall 1 time. the car wasnt driveable afterwards. this is a game,it needs too be fun, not irritating. It's only irritating for the people who never bothered to learn to be GOOD at the game. It was too "boatey", it felt like you were carrying 2 tons of lead bars in the trunk of the car. Real cars don't behave that way. I am glad they made a change.
