falcomilvus
How is it not enough city? There is loads of city there.. I agree it is a lot of countryside but as long as it is populated and has things to do in it .. then it will be great. I hope its not vast and a bit empty.. I put that down to the whole leaked map not being labelled though.

LiGzz
Let these niggas tell it, the city is twice the size of LC.. They gonna superimpose a picture of Vice city over the map and be like "LOOK.. SCALE~!!... THE CITY IS REALLY BIG.. SCALE" I'm thoroughly convinced half these niggas don't understand what it is. Regardless though, the city'll be enough for me I think.
SUPAH JD
Red Dead Redemption was primarly country side. For good reason of course, but still. Did you have an issue with that as well? It'll be fine.

black_benz
Los Santos is slightly smaller than Liberty City. That's smaller than I expected only because Los Angeles is bigger than New York City. I kind of agree... given the map size, I think there should have been slightly more urban/suburban area. After all... Southern California = beaches, suburbs, downtown L.A.... not backwoods, rural, hickville, country and forest...

ABCDOGGY ginette
The city is big enough, the country side is big enough, the map is big enough. It's just too much empty outside of Los Santos. It's cool doing base jump and hiking a mountain. But once you did it and saw it, there's not really a point to do it again. I would have wish more things to do, less mountains that are taking 1/3 of the map.
musicdude1706
You definitely need that countryside.. It's a breath of fresh air, in my opinion. To me the diversity in this game is what is going to constantly give it replay value. If there wasn't so much countryside our imaginations would just be on the massive city but the hype would be dwindled down within days of playing it.Think of it this way.. would you want wildlife only in one sixth of the map?I assure you man, you'll still be blown away Not enough city i hope it dont get boring

RDR is a different game entirely, in terms of themes and otherwise. It's really not. RDR is a sandbox game, with the same elements of R*. Grand Theft Pony for the most part. The game sold well, with mostly the same fans of the GTA series, and the map still was nice enough for people to stay enjoyed with it. More-so, the point proves the country side can be enjoyable. That being said, I can somewhat agree the city is a bit.. small. Edited September 10, 2013 by SideburnGuru
gwaha
If you thought Liberty City was big enough (not sure if the OP does or not) you won't have a problem with Los Santos. You can always just avoid the country side if you find it boring.

It's not like you could expect to see skyscrapers and highways in the game. Grand Theft Auto has always adopted an urban/suburban theme. Country is an added extra. Seems like this time around, it's the other way -- and I'm not sure that's something I'm all too excited about. No, wait..- Thee are elements of RDR in V, but they're not the same kind of game. GTA since it's inception has largely revolved around satirical life in a large American city which is why the setting matters so much. Both 'Red Dead' titles have in essence, been about "The countryside". There's very little urban influence in the universe of Red Dead, it's almost shunned, like the people from Blackwater. I'm dissapointed that R* made the city so small relative to the rest of the map.. Guess we'll have to rely on depth and detail.

edjwehfwhfkjshkdjfh
Map if perfect Yeah the Country/City ratio isn't equal, but its not like that's a bad thing... Los Santos only looks small because there is so much countryside. If it was equal in side, nobody would be complaining. besides, everything in the city area has a script. The country side is freedom! TechNoir87
Be disappointed all you want, I think it would be more boring and repetitive if the city was bigger, the size of Los Santos is perfect, I love the size of the countryside, it makes up for lack of it in GTA IV and the lack of space for cruising around. Trideez
I agree with the OP. I think the city is too small. I mean, the Los Santos Airport looks to be almost as big as all of SOUTH LOS SANTOS. That's kind of ridiculous.
Rixion
Be grateful with what you have, they could've made a GTA SA size map but in fact this is the largest GTA map yet. Some are never pleased.
