Approximate size of features found in GTAV taken from map, using AutoCAD.

No fancy math, just a map with a scale and a mapping tool.

As long as scale shown on map is correct, these numbers will be pretty accurate.

 

FULL PLAYABLE AREA: 25.52 miles

FULL ISLAND LAND MASS (minus sea): 18.36 sq.mi.

EXPLORABLE WATER (dark blue ocean + sea, not including rivers): 7.16 sq.mi.

PERIMETER OF ISLAND: 21.6 miles

CITY OF LOS SANTOS: 4.27 sq miles

ALAMO SEA: .49 sq.mi.

GRAND SENORA DESERT: 1 sq.mi.

LOS SANTOS AIRPORT: .33 sq.mi.

LAGO ZANCUDO RIVER: 2.18 miles

DRIVING FROM EAST LOS SANTOS TO PALETO BAY: 6.6 miles

MT. CHILIAD TRAM: .75 miles

MILES OF SANDY BEACHFRONT: 8.22 miles
