LanceUppercut
I can't see the number of users online which usually appears at the bottom of the page, has this been removed?

adamcs
Removed temporarily to speed up the site. There are over 5,000 people on the network just now.
Ryan
I think he means at the bottom of the topic which appears to be in fact missing,.

LanceUppercut
OK thanks for the responses, I hope it returns because I really like that feature. I use it in the V forum for gauge the hype level.
Majestic81
I think he means at the bottom of the topic which appears to be in fact missing,. ^ I got this problem above, and its members viewing this current topic, not members currently online. was this removed? Spider-Vice
It's not a problem it's actually beneficial, showing statistics for every topic strains the server quite a lot. With over 5k people this was a bit slow today so I think it was a good decision. GunWrath
I rather have a numbers than a list of usernames to be honest.
Spider-Vice
That'd require some mods, IPB shows both by default and the function can be disabled altogether to save database queries and server load. Majestic81
So its temporarily until the V dudes get their game and activity gets back to normal. or is this gonna stick? its not that much of a problem, but it was good to see who's viewing your topic. Andreas
The feature is only temporarily disabled, meaning it will get re-enabled when there is less activity on the forums, or in the network in general. NYC PATROL
I see it is back but only when broadly viewing topics. When I click on a topic and go to the bottom there is still no "users reading topic" list. Edited September 11, 2013 by NYC PATROL
Gnocchi Flip Flops
It's still gone! This sucks. I really liked seeing who viewed topics and subforums at the bottom of the page. Will it be back before the midnight launch of V?
OG Viking
I miss the ability to see reader's names at the bottom of topics, and online users visiting a subforum. That is useful because it tells me if a new post is likely to happen soon or not. As for the big list of online users on the main page, I don't need that. It's of no use to me because it's too huge to be useful. It could be useful if only 50 people was online, but with hundreds of names? No thanks. It's not only slowing the page down, it's a waste of space in my browser. Edited September 12, 2013 by OG Viking

Andreas
Will it be back before the midnight launch of V?I presume it will be back when the activity is lower than it is currently. I highly doubt that this is going to happen on September 17th, in fact chances are that the forum and the GTA Network as a whole is far more active than now. Be patient, there is a reason for the userlist being disabled.
