NO Nightlife ? Only one strip club? :(

If I remember correctly, the Casino's were not listed on the map in San Andreas.

Im pretty sure thats refering to the west coast, since Bahamma mamas in IV was on the east coast. There might be other clubs represented on the map, but whether theyre enterable or not is the question. Thats the thing I've noticed about Rockstar. They'll say theres a bunch, but theres truly only 1 or so and you cant really interact with the others. Take for example GTA IV. I remember reading through the manual while I was installing the game. In the manual there was a big thing for the "nightlife" in GTA IV. One part they were describing some dance club that had taken the city by storm, but when you actually went to that location in-game, there was nothing to do there. You couldnt even enter the building. It amounted to little more than a static object with a texture. Totally irrelevant in the grand scheme of the game. I think you were able to take your girlfriend there, but even still, what difference did that make? It just cut from one scene to another and the time changed. There was really no interaction. So I'm waiting to see just how "massive" this game actually is.

 

Yeah, the map is huge, but im pretty dissapointed in the content of the country side. Theres very few small towns scattered about, and I can see that area becoming a huge waste of space when we find out theres no actual much content out there. Content is king. A huge map with little to no content and interaction is completely irrelevant. If the map isnt jam packed with sh*tloads of content, then it doesnt matter how "big" they claim the game is. It simply wont be that big in terms of content and gameplay if thats the case. Hopefully theres more to do than it first appears, and that a lot of interiors are open as well.

Having only one is not a huge deal, however IV had multiple and that's a bit odd. But not only necessarily stripclubs, what about normal clubs to hang out in with friends of Michael, Franklin and Trevor? Did we forget how hilarious it was to get drunk in IV? I sure didn't forget that, that said...i hiiiiiiighly doubt there won't be any other clubs where we can dance or just drink.

The other club could be listed as purchasable property which would explain it's apparent absence on the map.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. The night clubs are probably part of the economy system of the game and therefor purchaseable, and the icons on the map don't specify wich kind of property you can buy.

 

One strip club is also totally fine for one of the less useful features.

They could be on the map but just not listed.

 

For example in San Andreas, the Casinos were not listed. There could be just various bars and clubs located around the map that you can buy drinks at like a street vendor.

 

Or they could be purchasable properties, so don't be too worried.

There is definitely more than one strip club.

 

Franklin's trailer had shown the black stripclub and there was a picture of Trevor in the white strip club.

 

surprisingly the white strippers were thicker than the strippers I seen in Franklin's trailer.

Keep in mind there is no restaurants on the map, which could explain the absence of night clubs. There could be another page in the guide for those.

You will purchase nightclubs, I can guarantee this! Businesses are available for purchase on the map. I found some evidence this morning and posted it to reddit. For example, you can purchase Smoke on the Water, a marijuana shop:

Rockstar has a problem with making multiple different things at once.. Every game it's like "THEY WILL HAVE 1 CLOTHES SHOP AND BE HAPPY WITH IT!!"

Then make your own game dumbass, see how easy that can be since you seem to be such a professional in these sort of things .
