Gnocchi Flip Flops Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 The map looks exactly like what I expected it would. Mapping Los Santos really got like 90% of the sh*t right. I like it, love the freeways, the curvy roads north of Los Santos, love f*cking love Los Santos, and I think the countryside was well planned, theres a lot of secludes areas to really make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. My only grime is the amount of backroads. Sure the hills north of Los Santos has a lot of curvy backroads but the northern portion of the map doesn't. I mean all you have is Paleto, a freeway, and nothing else north of Chilliad. Oh well, we've still got miles of scenic byway and at least there are empty sections of the map to relax. I was pissed at first lol! I had thought those money signs on the map were the houses you could buy but thankfully not. I want a beach house, a suburban house in East Vinewood, a mansion in Richman, and one countryside house where I can relax. Not everybody wants just moderny penthouse bullsh*t lol. I was mostly hoping they'd have something really interesting hidden from us because they showed off most of Los Santos in the blueprint map. In GTAIV was city with no forest, nothing to do, just big boring city... now, we have huuuge city and plenty of what to do! From hunting to yoga... As for changing anything, the only thing I would maybe do is put in another large town at the top of the map to act as a second "city" but I'm not that bothered. Size is fine, I never even explored all of GTA4 anyway because it was body copy pasted city. nothing new. Not only is this map much bigger, but it's SO different, wilderness, MOUNTAINS, ect I'm so beyond excited for mountains and woods I can't even explain. Planes. Animals. Custom cars. submarines. houses. businesses. custom weapons. Gangs. Tanks.
