But big magazines/sites do get their copy earlier so they can properly play the game and review it. usually, but not all games sometimes if a publisher is really sure of its game it will let reviewers publish their reviews like even a month before though yeah usually it is a few days before release If publisher knows game is gonna suck (see Aliens: colonial Marines) they wont let publish review until after release Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure about V though, not due to the score which will probably be very high, but due to them wanting to keep the info about the game as tight as possible. Creyes One Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Rockstar seems to not trust giving reviewers early copies of the game, and basically is only allowing IGN to come in and play in their studio/building...
