zeq2mapper
There are 4 but not the one you circled. Lose the one at the docks and then go up to grapeseed and circle the dirt strip. One international airport. One local airfield. One Military base. One dirt strip. so far... Can you circle that for me? I cannot find it hehe Sure man.. Thanks, but that doesnt reallly look like an air strip. lol what else do you think it is. Its a big brown dirt runway.. if you look to the North east you will see "parachute" icon where there are no mountains. Its logical people will sky dive around here from the dirt strip. Think logical man.. You thought the docks at the end of los santos international was another airport... No need to get offensive. Look at the position of it, it seems a bit off....thats why I said it didnt really look like a air stripe..

A Big dirt strip in the middle of a field is more likely to be a runway then some docks at a port right alongside an international airport. norgeek
That's most likely the dirt airstrip we've seen in several of the official screenshots. Probably also the one mentioned in the achievements. The Grand Senora airport seems far to large to fit either of those.
bertkamp16
All the other runways that are undisputed are clearly marked with an airplane icon though.
falcomilvus
All the other runways that are undisputed are clearly marked with an airplane icon though. They would all be designated airfields with ATC etc etc.. This would literally be a runway made out of mud or cut grass alongside a shed or small hangar.. Looks to me like it comes with a farm or large house.. As has been mentioned.. it probably is base to the crop duster for the vineyards. Lose the one at the docks and then go up to grapeseed and circle the dirt strip. One international airport. One local airfield. One Military base. One dirt strip. so far... Interesting, I really hadn't noticed that dirt strip in Grapeseed. Maybe the airfield in the Grand Senora Desert is a small regional airport? It would make sense if there were BN-2 Islanders (Or, as in San Andreas, "Beagles") flying between it and the Los Santos International Airport... EDIT - About the OP post: Interesting theory, but I'm sure that is not an airport. It does seem to have a similar layout to some runways, but it's just way too small and obviously not thick enough for most planes to fit on it. Also, it seems to be directly connected to the road, something that airport runways obviously don't do. My guess is that it's just a road in a wharf. Moe36
1 strip (probably where your hanger is/ 1 is a military base lol, good luck landing there without getting shot at/ therefore only 1 airport.

If I had to hazard a guess I would think it is a Boneyard kind of storage yard, gen aviation field. Where they store or maintain planes. I think if it was up at Paleto you would have some little taxi flights like that which would be absolutely badass. Seems to close to Los Santos to warrant its own connection however I am thinking to realistically so there is no reason why not. It does seem to have a long enough runway to handle the Hercules though according the the mission previews. Though you could get a herc off of a small wet beach so that isnt saying much lol. If trevor is smuggling drugs by air lets just say they will end up here at sandy shores.

Len Lfc
There is 1 - ONE Airport. People need to learn what an Airport is. Noun A complex of runways and buildings for the takeoff, landing, and maintenance of civil aircraft, with facilities for passengers. One Airport. One Military Base with an runway / Airbase One Airfield/strip & possible dirt strips, like at the farm. The Crop Duster has to take off & land from somewhere nearby, right? Noun A complex of runways and buildings for the takeoff, landing, and maintenance of civil aircraft, with facilities for passengers. And do you know what a domestic airport is? A domestic airport is an airport which handles only domestic flights or flights within the same country. (...) These airports normally have short runways which are sufficient to handle short/medium haul aircraft and regional air traffic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domestic_airport I do think it's not out of the question that the runways in the Grand Senora Desert belongs to a domestic or regional airport. Or maybe to an aircraft graveyard like falcomilvus said, we eve saw a few 747 fuselage parts in the desert for a screenshot.

That makes sense and I believe that may be a small airstrip in Grapeseed as well, I just don't see why it wouldn't be designated as such on the map. JuankAirPilot
It's too short to be a drag strip, plus it's dirt......so the only other thing that would make sense is an airstrip.
